You throw a glass bottle filled with high proof alchohol at something with a burning rag stuck in it, that bottle will break and catch whatever you throw it at in flaming death. Thats a molotov in my books...

How many more npc's do i have to kill/fight before I get a plus 1 to ccombat?

Like i said, an NPC tourney won't count - besides, i don't think your tourney counts under the 'recognized' aspect either. I guess if we bumped it to 5 it might count then.

Edit: And to be fair, i'll keep track of Duel counts and 1v1 kills in your player accounts. So even if you lose the tourney, you'll still get some credit toward your rolls

+1 to combat is also only applicable in hand-to-hand combat

Conditions: What are you asking of him in return? Training your men is barely a payment to you worth risking him bailing on you.

He's under the assumption that a babysitter squad of your own men is barely enough to prevent him from pitching them all overboard and leaving. Provided he has enough contacts, he could probably have his ship overrun by a city guard and clear out your men. You must have something else in mind to hold his loyalty and/or you're expecting something from him as payment
