Yeah, but I realized since William apparently has a few bastard children, I decided on that name for the race. Which sorta fits...Pointiness, psychotic, obeys binding contracts, often seeking pleasure regardless of cost,temperamental, reckless and moderately ambitious. Plus the fact that they can live twice as long as normal humans and often go mad.

Kain has sixteen legitimate grandchildren and nine children three of which are regular(Well moderately) humans. They ain't rare no mo'.

Plus the gene for pyschotic/sociopathic behavoir skips a generation.

OK, if Elvs aren't sterile or have low fertility, then why exactly are they in such low number? What, is there some little hidden Elv village somewhere?

I'm just going to decide that there are some Elv families in Hatcur...They're just reclusive or work through hatcuri agents.

They have a huge tendancy to get killed. Becuase of the aforementioned sociopathy/ pyschopathy or from suicide. They suffer alot of mental issues.

Because they are genetically designed to be in the minority. No sense in having more foremen than workers, is there?

If there are too many Elvs around, they squabble amongst themselves, kill each other off. Kain lived in an area with almost no elvs, so he felt genetically compelled to have a metric shit-tonne of babies, to restore the optimum level of foremen:workers.

Lets show them their folly!"HIs men cheered and loaded their crossbows and fired across. The pirate captain seeing this was no easy conquest pulled back towards the sea. Suddenly a voice rang out saying, "sir the guns have been reloaded." He smiled and ordered the chase.
A few minutes later the pirates were at the bottom of the ocean. The few ducats now his.

Oh and, Foremen=Elvs.

Question: Do Hatcuri have a natural "bond" with Elvs? I mean I'm sure the Emperor had some way of controlling them...
