Erm... I don't know where Kathos saw that, but the letters Avitus sent never talked about buying the land. It was a friendly but firm request of allegiance with a few compensations. I didn't say we were going to give them a single ducat from the royal treasure.

Well, one would assume that people like Avitus and I or would be able to help influence the queen in certain events and circumstances, but so far no one approached us about anything. We are the only two state officials that matter, so some matters of government could be solved more diplomatically, instead of going to the queen straight away and messing it all up.
I may not be of great help, I'm just a trooper, but Avitus is seriously underused as a point of contact in royal governemnt. Besides, queen does not need to know about everything, she just needs to see the surface result of a smooth-running kingdom.

E: I'm stating all of this because people seem to be frustrated with Psychobitch, but they forget that there is always more than one way of doing business in the government. I'm potentially encouraging corrutpion, yes, but only to make sure that Her Majesty won't run the entire kingdom into the ground. We need people working behind the scenes, and so far only 'Tala' seems to be doing it right.

I completely agree with Ardas, the Queen shouldn't spend all day receiving nobles for technical discussions. Avitus and Nikephoros are here, they are actually the only two noticeable members of Ligoria's administration, and they could serve as intermediates.

Could you please stop getting pissed at everybody over getting banished? And no, nobles are actually supposed to tend to their land, and amuse the King/Queen when needed or plot against them. General kingdom administration is not their doing.
