I'm actually trying to play Knavston Black as loyal and honourable to a fault. So loyal that he'll probably cause everyone around him to hate him for one reason or another after a couple more years. At least most of the major players already do!

One man already made a fatal mistake questioning Tere's outright loyalty. The only reason you're not bleeding out on the cobblestones of Fort Preston is that d'Avistral has ..some reservations about outright murdering a priest.

The current power player in Weyland is a fellow called Manskinner.  You get one guess as to what his favourite hobby is.  That give you a good clue as to what Weyland's like?

I think my original description for Weyland was; pre-monarchy Scotland, but with even more infighting and partisanship.  Expect men with kilts and claymores.  Considering Manskinner's stance on slavery (a profitable enterprise!), things are not about to get more cultured.

On the bright side, as soon as Manskinner becomes King I'll probably give Weyland "Slaves" as a resource.
