Something tells me I'm kinda screwed. It seems that three things can happen.

William decides to fight for Vale, causing me to die in a bloody massacre.
Tristan comes to Vale and presents his claim. I have no choice but to hand it over to him.
The Ligorian army comes to Vale and I die in a bloody massacre OR play the "I'm a mage" card and maybe get out alive.

I don't like these options.

No what as going to happen is that you would be evacuated first, then my men loot the village, put a few too old to continue but prideful veteran's on skeleton duty in the castle if Tristen or a Ligorian noble arrives first, they yeild and open the gates if another force comes, they stay and fight. Sell a claim to Blackadder and anybody else stupid enough to buy one. No offense SC of course, then we all leave slightly richer on the boats and wait for Rectyl.

Realistically speaking I would leave the administrative duties of Vale in your hands for at least a year or two since Tristan is still new and won't have the necessary knowledge of running the place. Your position is in no danger, and if you do well, I'll reciprocate. ^^^ Anyway I need to know how many men you have the boat so I can post an appropriate amount based on the roll.
