It would take atleast two weeks for Shola to aquire the lands, unless they had documents all allready.

How would Shola have gotten more land? Your 'noble' was out gathering lands for you, not Shola. Vale and the surrounding area arent part of Shola

Well then William is in time for the party. Becuase he left right after the meeting.
It would take a while for Shola to negotaite with those parcels and for those people to be bestowed with nobility. Unless they were planning it beforehand. Then It would still be William in time for the party. Becuase it takes less then a week for William to travel like he was and it would take a week for those nobles(or their messengers) to sail to Shola and discuss it.
William is in time for the Party or Shola Doesn't aquire those lands until later.

In my opinion, William can arrive at the party in time. He left Ligoria quite ealry this autumn. Kathos had enough time to go to the land he bought and come back before the party. And while the land he bought is not as far away as Vale, he left a week or two after William.

This is all assuming Cain would want ligorian rejects. They were all independent nobles anyway. Who they choose to side with is entirely up to them. They were offered fairs terms for their lands and chose to say no and side with shola. There would need to be a negotiation there as well. Knowing the terms given and what cain would offer, if anything, is still an issue. So I doubt anything would happen before winter

The problem is bad rep then. Which is easily remedied by saying that the only war is with the bandit lords who are raiding Ligorian border villages.
William is going to conquer/kill all those nobles in five turns anyway.
I even got a hilarous idea how to get that land from the Sellout without actually giving five ducats out...
