There's a difference from a general and someone that has an army.

The fact is, Tala has a crap load of spy tells. Think about it.
One: Charming most people at the party.
Two: The fact that drifted through the party listening instead of talking.
Three: More money then her actual income allows,AKA the lavish party.
Four: She met with a  hooded and masked random person looking at the paintings who whispered "I have information with for you." without a thought that it might be a random criminal looking for someone to steal from or kill who has heard of the new baron. She's never seen Will, and she trusts a man who calls himself that.

Dirty fighter- +1 to maneuvers that are considered dishonorable or despicable. Troops do these without a loyalty roll.

Feared- The Enemy has a 1 in 20 chance of abandoning the field if the general is present, and his or her troops are scared of fleeing from the battle.

Inspiring

Description: Kathos is a natural leader of men and a brave warrior, and he encourages his soldiers to fight with courage and determination.

Effect: the regiment Kathos is fighting in gets a +2 strenght bonus (While that's quite the bonus, the effect is for only one regiment and Kathos will have to actually fight with his soldiers if he wants to get the bonus (a.k.a. risk his life every single time he needs a stronger regiment)).

Well, a +1 bonus will do pretty much the same I guess, if +2 is overpowered.

+2 is alright, but only if he has ONE regiment involved in the battle on his side. AKA fighting off superior numbers, but only a total victory will save them.

Yes, it makes playing a Spy fun. To be fair, I can Godmod my own omniscience right back if thats what the games comes down to.

I assume I can just make up shit too, right, like it was my own idea? Like, *of course* I knew he was coming to my estate! All the evidence is already hidden or destroyed! Wow!

She knew a red masked noble made a commotion in the throne room. She magically knew it was you!

So if my character is in an outnumbered army, he can choose to fight in a regiment to give that regiment (and only that one) a +1 strenght bonus? Or is it only when he has one regiment with him?

Meh... I'll think about something else. It could be a very useful trait to have if there were less regiments involved in the game (and I don't want that), but since most fights are really large-scale battles, I have the feeling I just won't be using it.

William never called you a spy, you destroyed my arguements, yes those are sucky reasons I now realize.
William merely stated that the Hatcur thought you were a spy, to try and guage your reaction, he never said what country you were from or if you were a spy for an inner treasonous faction, there is alot of things you could have been a spy for. He either thinks you have a great poker face or your telling the truth now.

He never wore a red mask ever, this was the first time he wore a mask, he wore heavy armor to meet the queen. He didn't make a commotion, that was Corvinus.

The only godmodding I did was calling you out on the knife, I regret that and posting the list of things that make you a spy. Plus making William say that you were a spy. I regret that now that i think about it...
