Yes, but that took a sentence. With just one sentence here or there, I could alter the course of his life. However, an overhaul of his past takes a lot more than just a sentence.

Any magic-user who openly professes their use of magic is going to get shanked pretty damn quickly. Even in the Hatcuri nations, where spirit calling is common, it appears to be written off as religious worship that occasionally gets a palpable response from the gods, and even then it probably isn't too common.
If your character was causing priests to turn catatonic and holy water to turn to stone as a baby one has to question why they weren't burned alive right off the bat instead of just being left for exposure. Hell, the whole family would probably get the circle for that sort of thing.

Aside from toning down the obviousness of your supernatural abilities a bit, and filling out the power source, etc. etc. thing from the OP I don't actually see much wrong though. You're still human (which is huge, in my book), and Ichor is pretty similar to Pompulion in a few ways and he's been fine so far. You'll still need Iituem's Ok, of course, but if your magic is reasonable and doesn't involve some kind of world-destroying demons or something else stupidly powerful it should be fine.

Earlier in the thread Iituem mentioned that we as the GMs rarely kill PCs, unless it's a life-or-death situation. You should know that, at least when I roll, every use of magic is a potential life-or-death situation. Locanil could very easily accidentally sacrifice all his blood to a spirit, Pompulion could find himself consumed by the shadelings he works to control, and your character could find themselves turned into a pillar of salt in the shape of a man...or something. So just be aware of those risks.

Hmm. Alrighty then. I'll make a few further changes.

I've edited the first post a teensy bit more, putting a bit more emphasise on the consequences of magic and his powers secrecy until he tells a character.

Looks better now.

Just let us know what the Abilities, Costs, Consequences, Power Sources and the like of your abilities are.

For example:

Quote from: Example: Summoning
Abilities:  Call into being objects or creates in temporary material forms, bind into service.
Power Source:  Demonic spirits required to power creation and maintain form of summoned entities.
Direct Costs:  Some type of material (type irrelevant) to serve as base for 'creation'.  Air is acceptable, but large volume needed.
Consequences:  When demon banished, objects may crumble to dust with demon's departure or else revert to original form.  Summoned creatures can go rogue if demon breaks free (demon gains possession of created being).  Even if all goes well, summoner earns enmity of demonic realm.
Social Costs:  People typically fear demons breaking loose and going on rampages.  Demonic realm fails to look kindly on inhabitants being summoned and bound into service.

The only problem i have with multiple people running actions is that at some point we're going to have EPIC temporal instability where you could run actions for terenos or taricus to leave preston, get to elbreth, and BACK again in the time it would take one of us independants to blow our nose, let alone leave a single city the first time

This is a problem we've had in the past. It was why we implemented the seasonal system.
Generally if it feels like people are doing things too quickly on one end, I'll wait to respond.

If you're saying this because you're waiting for a reply, what page is it on? I'm pretty sure I can roll for you, as you're an independent.

Its not so much the waiting, I know Iituem's busy and all - it's mostly the logistics happening. The problem i have is that there's a lot of information gathering actions i'd like to take and i dont know if iituem has ideas already or not for the replies to the actions i want to take. *shrugs* Like i said, no biggie. I'm an IT nerd, so i've been watching the 'math' of this game for a while and it gets skewed rather quickly. It's good that the seasonal system was set up though, it does help.

Action is here

Your dude looks like he is a true tower wizard, one who is always targeted by assassins just incase he finally looses it. I love it.

God DAMN I love this game!

Stupid raiders. Always interfering.

Anyway, can I make up a religion for my homeland?

Kill..Myself? On the one hand I can't possibly take the contract as it goes against my personal interests..
But on the other hand, to kill the most legendary assassin in the lands? It would be quite the feather in my cap you understand.

Anywho. Yeah Taricus. Rally your troops, we have to go put down another mad king of Miring. Or at the very least threaten him with death.

Hey, I'm currently roaming the wilderness trying to rescue you! Can't be too long now until I discover the Ztah... I hope, might have to give up if I don't find them by late spring/early summer though  :-\
