See this is why I was against endings, because what if his ending contradicts what I wanted to do with my ending?

How can we be sure your prespective ending doesn't contradicts the one I had planned for Kain?
I'm pretty sure Thatkid wanted Elberth to collapse after Eric judging by his statements on the idea. But I might be wrong.
