Perfectly loyal, quite a few nautral weapons, speed, good smelling, and good eyesight.
These things will be badass if they work.
Perfect guards...

I'll have no hand in that. And dogs don't exactly have good eyesight...

Ah, but is the loyalty inherent to canines a genetic feature, or one attributed to their animal-intelligence? Once combined with the human mind, will they remain loyal?

As Iituem said, there's a lot of potential for failure here. Even if it does work.

Its just an excuse for  Kain to experiment on hapless people.

Plus there always the vents that lead to burning sulfur/wood/alchohol that i can activate at a moments notice if the test goes horribly wrong...
Kill the bad experiments with fire or smoke.

Well I must admit. A nice slow religious expansion might be a good way to go. Setting up some Monasteries to give us some missionary flow would be nice. Push our tech level upwards too.
But yeah. We just get everything handled, we move on from there. Probably at a slower pace.

9d towards the 12 i need, at a 20% tax PLUS 40% of the 4/yr gained off it...extortionate lil wanker he is

40% taxes, only a 5% sales tax...odd combo

Fiscally insane to set up shop in Suul under the bishop's current ways. So, time to work on plan B...

Well, money works only in certain places, but bribing king is not a good idea until you are able to offer to double his income. And I did just that. Elbreth is pretty isolated and lot of goods are going unsold, so if my Company was in place, I guess that with my trading ability, big helpings of cash and influencing of the city elders, I will be able to make Sheepstead into a royal metropolis. And Erik will probably will make me a Master of Coin or a Lord Chancellor or something in return for that.

The archbishop is indeed an extortionate little wanker, though the usurious loan was not contingent on you setting up shop in Suul.  The Archbishopric is a weird economic entity - every major institution is owned and operated by the state, even though there isn't exactly the sort of socialist people-care you would expect.  Hence the 40% income tax - you could never get away with that if the companies weren't nationalised anyway...

Could somebody roll for me catching that bastard??

I want to start a project, but I need the Granny thing to use as a jumpboard.

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

Well, I have a small bit of time on the internet now, so I'll see if I can get it finished. If not, someone else can maybe do it! :)

Oh yes... just rememberd, you know a few days ago you said you'd do my warehouse raid? Don't suppose you could maybe tonight if you wouldn't mind? Just it was over two weeks ago and you've mentioned you'd do it twice before, pretty please?  :-*

"I understand your plight, I came here to help and I will not disappoint, I'll be with you the whole way. You didn't pick the easiest of targets but we'll manage, OK if you want my help this is going to be how it works:

First of all I have nothing to gain from this, I can survive by myself, all I ask is you men follow me and pledge allegiance - trust me I have the resources and contacts you'll need to help your fellow people ((Hoping this will give me a personal guard by the way)). This evening some of you will go to the shore, find fishermen, anybody loyal to their brothers in arms and try to acquire a boat or three, the rest of us will get weapons.

As the sun sets we will meet up again, by boat row to port Sleen, half of us will clamber out to the shore (group 1) within the outer bailey and the others will wait for our signal (group 2), I'll try to assassinate any straggling guards from afar with my crossbow and then light a torch to signal group 2, they will then dock and try to begin moving any food they can find into the boats at the same time group 1 and myself charge the habour warehouse to distract the guards and fight them in combat ((Think dwarf fortress style whacking them with my crossbow, also I'll have my war dog - Buster  :D )). As group 2 finishes the job group 1 will falsely rout and use the other boats to escape. Some people may die but your families will be fed for weeks, and famine kept at bay, lives WILL be saved, and when we return let us pray to the old gods for the few who died to save the many."

Lead the group on the raid of the habour warehouse
