Do you have any of the resource info for it? anything like that?

For the most part a lot of the province info is blank due to the balancing issues that Iituem needs to maintain. I'm not going to start throwing figures into canon documents without approval or verification.

I'll get the pages set up at least.

What i'm looking to do atm is to fix the elbreth page to get the info more in line with the other province pages

Locanil blinked. The king was going to let the mages feel all the pain of kusite. Well He himself had never felt the pain, the little magic he knew was not truly magic, just asking the spirits for aid.

Locanil rose and said

"Kusam sap is indeed uneeded. however, everyone with even a hint of magic in their blood, known or not, will be in pain or in a state of perpetual uncomfort."

He though for a few seconds on the second question and answered

"The design could be turned into a prison yes or a fortress. It could be made into a crypt even, perhaps anything. It would even be more cost efficient than a tower, just take a longer production time; not really important unless lord wished to off the production for certain times.

And lord, kyrite is common enough nearer to my lands. The nearest and most open to trade would be the Swastamik, Korlan, and Aphti. Last two nations city-states to south-east coast at least four weeks travel to Korlan and seven to Aphti. the borders of Swastamik can be reached in five weeks, much longer to get anywhere containing kyrite.

Korlan has extensive kyrite mines that were discorvered little more than eight years ago. Lives of it and are currently at war with many nations. Its government is an elective monarchy. Rulers reign twenty years. City and surrounding area is natrual anti-magic.

Aphti has no local kyrite. It is an island-state made  of 56 small isles (most are very small, some medium sized). It is the place of trade for much of the region. Has many outposts scattered around the coast and on islands on the sea as well as farther lands.Extremely large merhant/military fleet. kyrite common enough from trade, still more expensive than Korlan. Ruled by council of merchants and sea-captains. These are elected by fellow merchants, land-owners, other captains.

Swastamik has smatterings of kyrite kyrite scattered all over. A kingdom that once ruled of Korlan, Aphti, and the other nations in that region. Holds sway over much land , at least 8x the size of our neighbour Brighthall. Weaker now due to instability and rebellion and corruption;still strong. Army is strong, navy is weak after most of it was taken away by rebels 23 years ago. Is often at war with its former subjects. Tribesmen often attack it west and north while raiders from the east often strike whats left of its coastal provinces. The south is mostly secure. Ruled by an emperor and council. The emperor's line had been the same for generations and the council is "democratically" elected by the people.

There are other nations that hold kyrite, but these are easiest to trade with."

Locanil knew he had spoken much more than what was needed, but he was follower of Oritziem.

"My lord, if you intend to military take a kyrite source, then I would not reccomend any direct attacks. Using sabetours, spies, and assassins as well as paying mercenaries and raiders and other more indirect routes would be better.

Finally lord, the lands which I came knows many technologies that seem absent here. I might know not how they work, but I know how some do and regardless, we could reproduce some with enough skill.""

I've mostly been updating the OPs in this thread whenever I make rule amendments.  Check there for pretty much all the up to date info.

Got back from play.  Tired out.  Went quite well for the first play I've performed and directed myself.  And depressingly, I mean myself.  (Being completely on your own on a stage for two hours is surprisingly sh*t-scary.  You don't realise how much when you're used to being on stage with other people you can bounce energy off and suddenly it all has to come from you...)

I should be able to sort out some of my loose plot threads tomorrow.  Tonight I'm just catching up and going to sleep.

You know what, I actually like the Fanatics concept.  I'll mull tomorrow on whether to include it as it is, modify it or whatever.

Edit to avoid extra posting:  Play was William Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors".  Not, granted, the best choice for a 1-man show, but one hell of a trick to pull off.

Glad to hear the play went well, Iituem. I didn't know you were performing and directing a 1 man play on your own; which one was it?

Anyways I'm back right now, I've been painting all day and I need to shower before I do anything else. I've mostly skimmed the new posts but I really liked what I say from both Yoink and Ghazkull. I'm looking forward to seeing more GM-ey posts from you two, they were interesting

Since I might not be able to make a post tonight or tomorrow (Mooore wooork), and if I do have time it will likely only be in response to Aulon, and I don't want to keep Ludwig waiting: I didn't have much for Ludwig planned aside from a generic "Use your sneaky-skills to deal with competitor merchants in a non-ethical fashion"
So now anyone who decides to take that plot thread over in my stead can do so

The main issue is that it's survived this long despite the general lawfulness of the city, thus obviously run by powerful people, so I imagine Kain could be biting off more than he could chew!
