Yeah yeah, I'll post something. Don't expect that much flavor, I'm tired.
I'd planned for the Udanese Kingdom inland of central Storm Coast to be vaguely Turkish or Middle Eastern, but seeing as I seem to be unable to write that page, feel free to ignore it.
EDIT: Here's the letter if you (like I) have already forgotten what it said.
My liege,
I write today with my heart full of sorrow. For while I tell of a victory for Elbreth, I must be forced to reveal a plot of treason against Your Highness. I shall not waste this letter for idle words. You need to hear the truth.
First, I must reveal the acts of Sir Taric, the 'Just'. While he might claim that title, actions speak louder than words. For the entirety of this campaign, Sir Taric has done little aside from burning, murdering and raping Mirish citizens and high-born. He has reduced the city, by birthright my friend Lord Trubaldsome's, into an ashen wasteland. I am not exaggarating when I say there are only a few Mirish men and women left in this town - so terrible were the horrors commited upon them by Taric. Those who survived fled to the wilds or inside the walls of the castle. As Grand Master Knavston can confirm, Sir Taric refused to aid us in battle in Preston, hoping for our armies to be destroyed.
It pains me to write these words, for this next betrayal is much more horrible. Long had we thought Lord Terenos a faithful servant of Elbreth. But while here, he has shown his true nature. He has killed two Mirish Kings already, and was seeking to end the last of that line, your servant Lord Trubaldsome. I know it is hard to believe, but Terenos was seeking to make himself King of Miring to satisfy his lust for power. Ask any man or woman here, and they will tell you that Lord Terenos has taken the Crown of Miring.
Lord Trubaldsome had heard these rumours and, stricken by the death of his beloved brothers, saw it best to head to Miring to calm the populace. They welcomed him with open arms. But just as Trubaldsome and I were about to leave back for your court, Sir Taric and his black-hearted ally Terenos returned. They burned what little remained of the city, killing all but few who escaped to the castle with us. We had no way to send a message for aid, and when Terenos arrived with a fleet of pirate ships, we thought our deaths were near. But our men fought bravely, and I was able to fight off Sir Taric's army and take him captive. He is alive and well. Unlike himself and Terenos, we are honourbound to treat all highborn captives well, no matter their actions. I mourn for the brave Elbrethian men with him who we were forced to kill. They were faithful to the end, even if they knew not of their master's treachery.
It is clear that their intentions were to take both Miring and Preston and, I fear, your place as well.
I hope this letter reaches you - I have taken the liberty of sending several messengers, so Terenos cannot intercept all of them. I will leave myself for your court soon, and I shall hope we can discuss Miring and the two traitors I have mentioned.
