At that time there also wasn't a currency in Europe. People used to trade with what they had. I'm taking that in this world professional soldiers are used, they require money, so does supplies, armour and weapons. Also the horses aren't workhorses that peasants use, they are a higher breed, a strong and yet fast horse.

80% through rolls.  Should have them done within an hour and a bit (maybe 2 hours), I've been taking care of the general rolls before I deal with Doc Johnston and Manskinner, before I deal with Drua and Locanil reaching their first destination and before I deal with the events for Miring, Elbreth and Weyland.

It's more to do with the writing than anything else.

It takes a while, but most rolls are genuinely fun to do so it's OK.

Forgot to agree to the duel.
I'm going to be off the computer for the majority of the next couple days.

New mechanic, part of which I've always wanted to put into a game.

Technology

Technology must generally be researched as part of a project by players.  On successful research completion, the researcher gains knowledge of the technology and 1 copy of his work.  Copies of technology may be added to libraries in towns; any province that has a copy of that technology in its library can use the technology and any benefits it provides.  Making additional copies either requires that you have perfect knowledge of the technology (from studying and memorising it, or from being the researcher) or that you have access to a copy.  It also costs 1 ducat to complete the transcription.

Advanced units may only be capable of being produced if the technology to produce them exists in a province.  After a long enough period, some technologies may become common knowledge in a province, removing the need for a copy to exist there.

Copies of technology can be destroyed, but it is assumed that they are kept under at least some security (military technologies especially so).  Capturing the library in which copies are stored allows the copies to be destroyed automatically.  Libraries can exist in towns or fortifications (such as forts or castles).

I assume Sheepstead starts with the Gunpowder Tech as long as Mahtan is around?

Jah.  By the way, my forearm hurts from typing.  Taking a break, then dealing with Drua & Locanil.

If you haven't done the merchant rolls yet, I can do those.
I feel like I should be rolling something. Every time I go more than a few posts without making a roll I feel weird xD

I've actually done everything except the ones I have to do (Drua & Locanil and the events for the three states).  If any new ones come up, feel free to tackle those.

A ducat is like 100 bucks.
I worked out a while back its $44 if your interested based on the weight of a ducat and the price of gold (at present)

P.S: To the people wanting to bring Taric back there's a reason Meng is watching him in the stockades, just saying  ;)
