Is it quite possible to move our sessions to Sundays? My last and only open day?

I can't, as I attend AtomicDremora's game on that day.

I asked about this weekend because it is extremely unlikely l'll be able to attend, though I will make every effort. I'll be out with the fiance on vacation this weekend so it depends on whether the hotel has internet access and whether I'm not busy doing vacation stuff. If I'm not present, feel free to NPC Cassius or plot him out of the fight leading up to the encounter with the captain or whatever.

Welp, 300XP for that. Rasosk scared off a couple of pirates, Karina one-shotted the pirate captain and Nihilius teleported into the lander and rained steel on the enemy.

Advances:
300 Exp Trade (Armorer, Elite Advance), 300 Exp Medicae (Elite Advance), Sound Constitution x2, 100 Exp Dodge, 100 Exp Rapid Reload, 100 Exp Crack Shot, 100 Exp Deadeye Shot.

Go TECH-GUARD. Like Guardsmen and Techpriests, but better.

Also, that brings me up to 15 wounds and the well into the rank Skitarii Legionnaire.

More EXP, for (I think) less power, but instant. Meh, not a bad trade off.
Spending that 300 on one Psychic Power and one minor power.
Fire Bolt (DH Core Rulebook, Pyromancy. I'm still not clear on how you learn new disciplines. If I did it wrong, let me know)

Now I can look REALLY SCARY and shoot fire at people within 100m of me, at 1d10+5 (If you didn't know, that's bolter damage without the pen) and if I go a certain limit beyond the psychic threshold, I can fire multiple bolts. The firebolt isn't really fire, it's more of a Mind Bolt, because it looks however I want it to look.
If I learning a new discipline doesn't work like that, I change those to:
Catch Projectiles (DH Core Rulebook, Telekinetics)
Spasm (Minor Power) (DH Core Rulebook)

With this, I can cause people within 50m of me to start to muscle spasm (Oh the joy of this, it's so spammy and delicious), and can stop 5 bullets/bolts from hitting me on a successful threshold test. Oh, and if you're within 5m of me, any 5 projectiles fired at you are also stopped.
Psykers are delicious, and I can see why Glowcat nerfed them, but still.

Oh, and Eli died. Horribly. With blood and brains spraying from the smoking remnants of his skull, his last thought one of horror at how his comrades had deserted him...
And Rasosk was last seen running away from the battlefield in (hopefully) the direction of some sort of escape-type ship/vehichle/means of propulsion. A very fun session indeed!
