Hmm... correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a couple of days since I had a save where it's relevant, but if I read that screen shot correctly that is an item error.

I've had generic item demands, but they are capitalized.

I.e. Generic item:  Demands:  Item in Throne Room/Office.

Since this isn't capitalized I assume there is a missing descriptor.

my sheriff also demanded an item . i tried it with statues and other stuff. then i simply designated a finished goods stockpile in his room - and i met his demand.
