Whenever I try to launch the new Solar 2 game, I get the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
The trouble is that, when I can launch these programs JUST FINE in safe mode, I am going to do a full virus scan after this post, but I want to know what could be causing this.

I am using Windows XP Service Pack 3, since I know that will (hopefully) ward away the "solutions" for windows 7 and stuff...

I have tried a lot of shit, from renaming the files, to giving myself COMPLETE control over every single file on my computer. I am getting nowhere, fast.
(Though, there is one possible solution I have not tried, which involves transferring the NTuser.dat file from the hidden admin profile...)
