its one of the rules of dwarf fortress: anything can be weaponized, actually... think I'm bout to start a post for that.

wait a sec, can you do medicalz on enemies? o-_-o  DORFEN MEDICAL EXPERIMENTATION.
Easy to do with a little modding, create a scalpel or bonesaw weapon that uses the Surgeon skill to attack. Voile!

Socks?...
...
A) Creature Logic Trap using socks and dorfs.
B) Jam a door open with a sock so a creature destroyer cannot go through. Then combine with anything else.
C) Execute cheesemakers and elf sympathizers with -pig tail socks- as bait.
D) Kill someone Fluffy Wambler-style with the sock.

It never existed in the first place - people only thought it did because they saw those big red clouds of "boiling [alcohol]" and assumed that they were explosions that did damage.

Boozesplosions don't do any kind of explosion damage, but it burns everything around it.

Just like flammable liquids in real life - little in the way of explosive concussion, but a nice hot fireball.

If you throw a bag of flour, it bursts in a giant puff of flour. If you light the cloud, it creates a MASSIVE fireball.

Using food ingredients to internally and externally give severe burns to random people. Dorfy.

Assuming that undead will attack Invaders and Siegers, you could have a defense system in a fort that relies on useless migrants when in Evil biomes(again assuming that the process really is automated and they'll rise as undead naturally).

1) Migrants have arrived!
2) Hand-pick the one's actually worth something and let them into the fort.
3) The rest move to this nice little room with a nice little bridge over a nice little 15 Z-level drop.
4) PULL THE LEVER
5) Migrants fall down and explode to numerous giblets.
6) Wait for the migrant giblets to be re-animated.
7) A single poorly-skilled person might not be a big threat against an armed enemy, but what about every single one of their bodyparts attacking separately? Brace for "reanimated undead fist punches the Goblin Axeman in the head, crushing the skull and jamming the skull through the brain"!
