I'm ridiculously overexcited to get back to work on this.

As for beauty/barbaricity, I haven't even begun design concepts on things like that yet. I want to get the basics done for village running first. Once the players have a good 50 years or so of gameplay, I will expand the world with other randomly generated civilisations, and thus, systems of aggressiveness and primality required.

Mother-f'ing posting to mother-f'ing watch  :o

If you don't mind me asking, what are you using to program this? I'd like to start programming games as well, and I'm looking for a place to start.

Two questions: How close is it to being playable? Will it be free?

VB6.

VB6 is a very easy language to start with. I intend to start the next project after this one, in a C/C++/C# language.

Looks awesome. Posting to watch.

Woop.

Two questions: How close is it to being playable? Will it be free?

1. Every bug that I fixes is causing another lately, but it is getting closer to being finished.
2. Yes.

Argh, I missed the livestream  :(

VB6, huh? I used to do some school projects in VB. I'll have to pull out the old CD and install it again.

Haha! I fixed the hunting-battle bugs! The variables were being reset each turn - newbie mistake.

I also balanced out the combat by HP/Strength.

I just need to add victory conditions, and it's done for this version. Armour currently has no effect.

Edit;
Oh, and, some temporary graphics.
