burial site managing issues

Hi there,

I recently reclaimed a fortress and I'm having a crapload of problems with burial sites.

First of all, it's frigging full of ghosts.
They keep popping every ten minutes so I need to engrave a ton of slabs. Currently my slabs are more than my tables.
Now here the problem is that is completely irritating to scroll a list of 100 names that looks all the same (all Urist) to find the bloody right name to engrave.
There is a simple method to do it without scrolling the damn list all the times?

Then when I want to build the slab, I'm not so sure that the dorfes pick the engraved one instead of a random non engraved slab. This make the mass production of slabs a bit tricky because I need to build, engrave and place one slab at time.

Second issue, every time i build a coffin and place it, as soon as I set it to use for burial, some random (dead) guys  occupy the coffin without even be carried inside it.
And I suspect they're the dweller of the old fortress.

The result here is that my dead dorfes aren't dragged to their final rest place because the coffins are autooccupied by inexistent corpses (probably just a symbolic burial).

Now my question is:
Did it happen to you?
Is it a bug?
Are we really suppose to scroll a list of 100 names in the engrave menu to find the damn Oddom Ducimmul, not Oddom Duceril o Oddom Ducorol?

Do you find all this irritating?

I generally just let my fortress become Limbo Incarnate, and only make slabs for the murderous phantoms.

I'll check, but I believed that the coffins are occupied by inexistent corpses before one of the real dead dorf can be carried inside the coffin. I'm pretty sure that this corpses were not forbidden, while the other corpeses are forbidden.
I'm also sure that this corpses that appear to occupy this burial sites are not carried inside.
Infact after I designated the coffin for the burial, in a few second time, the coffin become occupied without anyone carring anything inside it.

Can understand the appeal of a haunted fortress, the problem is that the ghosts give bad tought to your dorfes and keep messing with your furniture.

About the slab building, you can press the 'Expand' button while building slabs (or any other building) (I don't remember which button it is, but when building the Slab, look to the right menu). It will show individual items instead of all of the items of the same kind / crafted with the same stone.

If it still doesn't show "engraved cerimonial stone slab", you can press "v" on the individual item to check it and see if it's the right slab or not.

Sorry for not remembering it well, but I just abandoned a fort and can't check it out myself to tell you the right keys.

ghosts claim coffins.  these cannot be used.  so keep cranking out coffins till they outnumber the ghosts.
