So, against my better judgement, I'm going to start this. Here's how the whole idea got started: A couple of friends were over and we started talking about DnD, and I don't own it or know the mechanics for it, so I said you guys do something else while I google it. Obviously I never even typed the letter g and went straight to the Bay12 IRC and said I needed a free table top RPG. After a little bit of talking, I decided on tactics. With some left over poster board, boxes, and pretty much what ever else, we constructed a map (we will NOT be playing with a map, btw) and decided the three starting rules 1.The player to the left of the DM goes first 2.You are allowed to create one rule or define one thing per turn (limit subject to change) and 3.the DM's call on what constitutes a stupid rule. Twenty minutes in we had a five page word document and I was hastily typing in values for weapons and monsters, and even came back the IRC to ask how to calculate poison, (which worked great, I don't remember who came up with the value). So, I figured, this would be easier as a forum game, wouldn't it? And, tentatively, I created this topic, and requested six participants. Will you join up or stay away? This RPG is anything the first six want it to be, and parts of what you want it to be later on! Who will join me?
(This cannot end well.)
