Facebook sells your information for a profit *gasps*

I have a facebook account that I rarely use, in fact I only use it to keep up with some old close friends, but that is the only reason why I am concerned that facebook might get shutdown. So what dose the rest of bay12 think about this whole fiasco?

Nothing new. Facebook is a gold mine when it comes to public consumption trends and advertising. Facebook started as a way to connect with people, but it ended up being the almighty $$$$$ bitch.

They are a group of hacker activists or "hacktivists" that orginated as a prankster group on 4chan(An image board), the are *allegedly* responsible for the PSN shutdown.
Their deeds range from "Interwebb RobinHoods" to "Pasty pizzafaced kids with a chip on their shoulder..."
