Story

Ever since the dawn of time, magical creatures roamed the land. Unfortunately humanity doesn't seem to mix well with these creatures. Throughout the age's groups of men and women would join together to hunt these creatures, usually in times of crisis.
Although these creatures seemed to dissapear over time, just recently they re-appeared. Along with these creatures appearing, one group came together to capture them. No one knows where they came from, or who they are but they started the whole monster hunting
buisness. You are an aspiring Magical Creature hunter, and you just recently met up with five other people to create a squad. Will you go down in history? Or will you suffer the same fate as many other squads?

Character Creation

Name: If you can't get this right, shame on you.
Profession: Anything really, but make sure its something where your character has experience with dealing with one kind of creature. Examples being Necromancer, Zombie Hunter, Priest, etc.
Bio: Self explanatory
Hierloom Item: An item that has some kind of meaning to your character, it can be anything that your character can easily carry and should be somewhat small. No Rocket Launchers or Airplanes here folks.

Remember, roleplaying his highly encouraged!

Bio: A rather eccentric man who comes from a family where necromancy is quite common. He lost his main job at a cryogenics company when he was found harvesting the souls of the "guests". Jobless, he decided it was time for a change of pace and took up monster hunting, because who cares if you steal someone's soul and use if for yourself if they're just a monster?
Heirloom: Soul gem. A blood red gem surrounded by a lattice of dark metal, a present from his 8th birthday.

Name: Kili Elfhewer
Profession: Fae-Slayer (Elves and Related)

Bio: Her family name is well known-the Elfhewers have been doing just that for generations, ever since the family line was were cursed well on 1000 years ago by a Leprechaun-"Beggar this, Beggar that...better get out your begging hat!" This line of inspid whimsy has consumed ten generations of Elfhewers in a lust for vengeance.

The curse literally makes it impossible for anyone of Elfhewer blood to have money at all-what they get is taken from them through sheer bad luck. Any money they even handle, or is used for their benefit is similiarly cursed, so they cannot even let other people spend or buy on their behalf without the curse jumping to them.

In defiance of this, they took a vow of poverty, begging when they have to, stealing when they have to, and making their weapons and armor from the foes they kill. They also took a vow to hunt down all such beings to the ends of the Earth-at least till they find and kill the dratted critter than cursed them in the first place, and slay him, hopefully ending the curse itself.

Kili is the youngest Fae-Slayer, and the most aggressive. She's determined the family curse will end with her.

Hierloom Item: Feywrought Bag (Made from the collected clothing, bones and hair of all 101 principal species of Fey beings, it can be used to banish normally intangible or invisible enemies from this plane of existence.)

Name: Benji Broomstick
Profession: Outlaw biker/Vampire slayer
Bio: The toughest, gnarliest dude riding with the Smelly Penguins Motorcycle Association, Benji earned his name for beating two members of a rival gang unconscious armed with just a broomstick. Much to his annoyance, the name stuck, and he beats on any non-Penguin who mentions it. A few years back the Penguins purchased an old, run-down house on the outskirts of town as their new club-house. However, as they were renovating the place, it turned out it was haunted by a whole coven of vampires.
No wonder it was selling cheap... Thus, after cracking a few vampire skulls, the Penguins ceased to be your average bikie gang, becoming more and more preoccupied with waging war on the various monsters around the place. 
With the recent incursion of supernatural beings, most of the club has been wiped out or scattered, Benji being one of the last remaining. Not only that, but some stinkin' monster trashed Benji's bike, making him very, very pissed.
Since then, Benji's devoted his life the tracking down them nasty bloodsuckers wherever they gather and laying a good stomping on 'em. Some call him bikie, others call him... Vampire hunter.
After following the advice of some old homeless dude out the back of the pub, he equipped himself with a wooden stake and got his favourite chain plated with silver, too. Because the wisdom of old homeless dudes is one of the few constants in this strange world.
Heirloom: Large silver-plated length of iron chain for beating stuff.

Much to his annoyance, the name stuck, and he beats on any non-Penguin who mentions it. With the recent incursion of supernatural beings and all, Benji at first assumed he was just hallucinating. But those floating pink elephants have got a beatin' coming...

Name: Zatarch

Profession: Savagesmith

Bio: Son of an African man and a British woman, Zatarch grew up in quite an odd situation: Hanging out with a British mom and African man in an ancient and savage part of Africa, where large, savage (as you would expect) animals were quite commonplace. Thus, Zatarch learned quite quickly how to deal with all matter of magical, mundane, fancy, and delicious animals, such as Direbears, Burrow-Worms, Fang-Cheetas, and Winged Runners, among other things. And of course, a mostly primitive tribe in Africa can't really go buy a gun for self-defense at the local store, so the tribe Zatarch was in became quite adept at making their own weapons, and even imbuing the essences and materials of the magical animals they killed. Crafting was quite a sacred thing among his tribe. Eventually he went on a soul-searching adventure, which was the norm for people in his situation, and what was next? Well, I DON'T KNOW YET.
