Hah things are going according to the plan I would have had if I actually started this run with a plan.

Ivans prostitution empire has netted him enough cash to be able to hire the ace attorney for every one of his employees who gets caught, this combined with four seduced judges makes for an easy justice system.

Not having to worry about his contractors anymore Ivan has stepped up the hacking/publishing campaign, if it's hidden, Ivan will find it and put it front and center on his newspaper. For a while he had help from an artist he seduced, he had her run around tagging buildings with the liberal agenda but eventually she got caught by a death squad policeman and went to the big arts and crafts table in the sky.

Another new addition is a fashion designer that adds some extra income to the group, hiding in plain sight in an apartment in the C-district.

Ivan himself though has started to draw some serious heat and not only is he jumping once a week between his two apartments in the A-district but he has also taken to travel with a mutant bodyguard.

'merica had an election yesterday and it was almost a huge success, instead I got a good success which I guess is nothing to complain about. The C+ president was almost replaced by a liberal, but a C candidate managed to win by less than 1% of the votes. Still C is far better than C+ and both the vice president and the cabinet is moderate. I also managed to nab some seats in the congress and house. This was followed by five liberalisation of laws actually being passed, the only time so far in this playthrough I even got one law through was when I published the corporate secret files which seemed to make people want harder regulations on companies (atleast I think they were connected).

His motives may not be pure, his means sure as hell are not, but Ivan continues to fight for our freedoms, as long as you are not a kid I suppose.

You're doing great work... C president is already fairly good, as he may veto attempts to make laws C+. Four judges are good and in versions of yore they would've ensured one of them to appear in court. Nowadays their effectiveness % matters more. I would recommend not hiring the Ace Attorney every time - training an attorney of your own is not only cheaper, but has no risk of Arch Conservative Nemesis Prosecutor From Hell.

Incidentally, this is my 2000th post in the Bay 12 Games Forum, and right where I started - Curses forums, in an LCS newbie thread. I decided to start using an avatar to celebrate this "feat".

Yeah, I agree. While it's funny for a while after a bit my soul hurts if that's possible. In other words it makes me feel bad so feel free to take that away from me, open source.

Two approaches I see here... either the prostitution could be disabled completely or changed into something more appropriate for children ("kiss booth" or whatever). I'm in favor of the former and will implement it within a few days - the latter would probably seen as a funny finishing touch by many but maybe getting serious income from one would pack... unfortunate implications.

Quick question, is it possible to seduce a policeman or deathsquad officer? My seduction stats on the characters I've tried with are pretty damn high but they seem to inform on me every time. Is kidnapping the only way to get an insider in the fuzz?

Not at all, if you can beat the hell out of them and kidnap them you can perform horrendous crimes against humanity enlightenment. If you can send them back fast enough then you have an insider in the fuzz.

Having seduced a Death Squad officer, I can confirm almost anyone can be seduced (I think the exceptions to this rule are mutated monsters at the genetic lab/CEO house.). Basically, you have to roll higher than a difficulty with the three higher dice from (Attribute/2 + Skill)/3 6 sided dice, and one extra 3 sided die if you have one extra point, or one 5 side die if you have 2 extra points.

If you have enough money I recommand you using the 100$ option from the dating screen.

Actually the cheap holiday is even better, if the Liberal is someone who isn't needed everyday. But yeah, most characters can be seduced.

IIRC, the CEO is the hardest person to seduce but it's still possible so yeah, you can basically seduce any human being.

Speaking of raids, is there a specific reason we can't counter-corrupt? In example, seeing as the mercenaries are paid for, I would think they would leave if you offered them more money than the Corporations.

I guess the mercs get bonuses whenever they decline a counteroffer (or rather, seal it with bullets). Also, in LCS, all your members are ideological warriors, so it'd feel a bit odd to have a paid mercenary practicing diseobedience or such...
