Grodab rubs at the bruised back of his head, then starts sizing up the other people in the room, hefting his axe. He looks back to Adrian hopefully, seemingly content to follow his instructions for now. "I kill them? Yes?"

What type of payment do you take, and what have you got in stock?


"Oh, sonny, have I got something for you... I have poultices, tools, weapons and armor. But the best thing I sell is, well... death." He said, still smiling sweetly at you. With a flick of his wrist he swings his walking stick at your head. [4+1] You, luckily, manage to duck quickly. [6] And you thrust your sword at the man's throat. The sword goes right on through and he slumps down dead at the edge of your feet.
You look around the room and notice one door.
What do you do?


(Ignore the fact I didn't do a battle. I have reason.))

Examine the body and see if the hole leads to a secret passage.

[1] You look at the body and all you see is a sweet, mutilated girl. What sick person would hurt this angel?
[6] You hear voices through the hole, and the sounds of fighting. It must be the sick person who killed this girl!
What do you do?



"Oh, thanks guys. I wanted to help you actually, but I'm feeling a bit weak at the moment. Would be surprised if I can still lift this axe to striking height. Seems like you guys got a few scratches and dents too, let's try to find a doctor."

Eldmor looks for a passage behind the giant.

[5+10] There is an obvious wooden door behind the giant.

((I've been away the last couple days. Sorry.))

Look through the hole, but stay quiet.

[6]Looking through the hole you see several people. One is a nude man with an axe, the others are dressed in armor with mostly the same weapons. They are very tired and what looks like a dead body is at their feet. A large, muscular dead body of a man.

Search this old man, he must surely have something. Don't forget to inspect his stick as well.

You kneel down besides the old man and pick up his staff, examining it closely and poking yourself in the eye with it. It looks like a crazy, old man who thought it would be nice to hit you.

"Hey, are you guys following?"

Eldmor opens the door and walks in.

Grodab barges his way through the door, axe over one shoulder as he eyes his surroundings warily.

You barge your way through the door. Looking over the room you see a large, wooden door at the other side. [4] Grodab begins to walk through, but he notices several pendulums with blades hidden in the ceiling. Your teammates walk on before you can signal them. [6] Eldmor continues walking forwards, not noticing the pendulums until the last second. As you step on an elevated stone one comes swinging down, but you luckily toss yourself backwards out of harm's way. You were in front of your teammates and they all stop before they continue into the room.

What do you do?

Head to where everyone else is.

You climb through the hole.[1] And alert everyone to your presence. Due to the recent hostility to people they all swing their weapons at an armored, and heavily armed targert. [2] Before you can tell everyone you're not a crazy, bloodthirsty maniac you take three hits. [6] After being knocked to the ground and bleeding heavily you spit out a sentence. "Great god... stop..." You say, and luckily they get the message. Be it slowly. [4] Before you spoke one of them had already swung their weapon, and you roll out of the way.

Hell, take it, I might as well have something to trigger traps with. Go through the next door.

You pick up the staff and go through the next door. Only to find... a brick wall! Lucky you. [3] You kick the wall angrily and turn away, probably going to look for another exit. Before you can do that you hear a small crumbling and one of the bricks fall out, exposing a space behind it.
[4] Using the butt of the staff you picked up you manage to jam it into the wall several times, eventually creating a hole big enough for you to walk through.
[6+] You walk further into the room. There's nothing in this room but stone. After looking around for a second you hear a quiet slithering overhead. Spinning around you thrust your sword and manage to impale whatever was behind you. Unluckily it seems to have ran back into the other room.



"Look! Axe in ceiling!" Grodab grunts, jabbing a finger at the swinging blades, in a rather delayed reaction.
He peers at them for a moment. "Uhh, maybe we not go this way, Grodab thinks."
Examine the blades. How rapidly do they swing? How high are they?

You examine the swinging blades. The blades swing at medium speed, taking about seven seconds to fall from the top to the other side. They are lowered enough to slice open a man of regular height's stomach. [5] You also notice that where the axe begins they are held together very loosely.

who want to roll the giants body over the floor to see where the traps are?

[4] Before you can pull the large body over to the other room you are stopped. They explain to you that if you did that then you would activate all the traps, making passage impossible.
