Also, Martial Study doesn't allow stances. That needs Martial Stance.

study level 9 then a stance at level 12 then, not like there's other feats I need/want.

To get a level 3 maneuver from Martial Study (or level 3 stance from Martial Stance) you would need to be level 10 when you take the feat. Initiators get access to level three stuff at level 5, the same way wizards and clerics get level 3 spells at class level 5. Ya dig?

I already knew that, I didn't know that martial stance was a different feat.  I'm gonna get a level 2 strike, and a level 3 stance, either assassin's stance thing that gives me +2d6 to sneak attack or this other stance that would add +6 damage to me and anyone else who's flanking the same guy.

Ummm. Is there a slot open in this game still? Been a hankering for some old school RPG goodness, been playing some strange systems recently, this campaign looked interesting.

Slots are always open.

Let's see... Still need to send a shadowcaster, warlock, and truenamer after you guys. Shadowcaster will be fun. Oh, and a Binder with actual pre-existing vestiges.

Can we fight more weak enemies, cause having to gang up on a single guy really doesn't ooze how epic we are.

edit- specifically when those guys are gnomes, kobolds, and an armor smith.

Re: D&D 3.5: Alternative Energy: Spontaneous session, anyone?

As the new title reflects, if there happen to be 4 or more people around able to have a session starting at 0030 GMT, aka 7:30 Eastern, aka about 1 hour 15 minutes from this post, I happen to have a bundle of free time tonight starting then. We will have Boss Fight and perhaps also the Real Real Plot.

You can mark your calendars for 7 PM EST Friday, which I believe will be 0000 GMT Friday/Saturday. For reference, it is approximately 6:10 AM EST Thursday as of this post.

Okay. Are monster races allowed? If so there's a fairly decent Illithid race I've used before for playing a Psion, might I be allowed to use that?

I imagine that it would be easier to okay it if you were to post its statistics...

It's designed as a class someone takes, but you can easily use it as a race that gives scaled abilities.
