Welp, I'm rocking a 5 ac Mithral Chain/2 ac Heavy Shield/+1 Bracers of armor plus 2 dex, so I'm matched to you :P

I also took combat expertise-since I'm pretty much going to be a point blank caster at this point-so I could handle as a tank in a pinch.

Great thing about tower shields is that I can still cast while using it. If we ever are in a corridor with archers I could lead the way in, and maybe even take down an enemy while I'm at it. I think I'd be a glass tank if I were forced into melee. 19 hp does nothing for me as a tank. It also doesn't help that I'm lowering my levels and spending gold for more powers. RP goals can be both fun and painful. Hopefully my character can be paid a portion of the costs for updates to the illumian cabal.

Now that you mention it, I could also take combat expertise... I'll have to look that one up again. Hooray for tanking!

EDIT: Nope. I don't think I'll be melee attacking an enemy ever.

My HP should only be a little higher than yours-depends on how well I roll for my fighter levels.

I am zee stealth tank:

Although I only have an AC of 17, the fact that I have access to greater invisibility at will for long enough duration to last most of the encounter means anyone unable to pinpoint my position has to guess where I am, something they have a very poor chance of doing (1 in 48 if I take a 5' step after attacking) and then, if they manage to figure out where I am (successful DC 31 listen check, blindsight, scent or a very lucky guess) they still have a 50% chance to miss me due to concealment.

Mix in the ability to make 3 AoOs per round for an average damage of 7 each, a 10' reach, let simmer and release to become an intractably annoying obstacle for the opposition regardless of if they try ignoring me or try to fight me.

tanks are meant to be attacked, no one's going to attack the invisible dude.

Well, it's either fight me, stay where they are (and away from the non-melee members of the party) or get sneak attacked with an AoO. It's not conventional tankery, but it does accomplish the goal of "Keep the baddies away from the squishy party members".

@Red: I think I'll try for a much more reasonable way of gaining powers. I'll keep hammerspace'd power stones instead of learning all the powers so I can start at level 5. They sell for about the same cost as it is to access them from another psion and this way I can 'have' the powers, but not take an exp hit for taking useless powers. It would also allow me to learn useful ones as we go. The drawback is the exp cost increase, but it is less exp intensive than the last plan.

Just to keep it realistic I'll RNG the power stones. This means I'll have some duplicates with one unique power, some with just one power, and so on. So long as I don't have it already I'll take it. I'll also add general items and a log book while I'm at it.

EDIT: Sheet has been updated. I rolled the power stones. It took 43 power stones to collect all 62 first level powers. I have a spreadsheet saved that states what all 43 power stones have. This took way too long to do. Now for second level powers... maybe tomorrow.

If no one noticed my character has 3 alignments. Could make detect alignment spells rather fun to be around.

First off, I want to apologize to you, Red. My character wants to collect a lot of magic spells. So, having gone through the spell compendium to see what Veshnoal would consider interesting or even slightly/situationally useful, here's a giant-ass list of spells from the Spell Compendium that I would like to request.....

That's a long list... I also apologize for what I'm going to post by the end of today into this post. *Runs off to write a list of powers* I suppose this is a reserved post of sorts then. Conveniently all of the powers from the races of series are in the complete psionic book. I have yet to find any other book that has more psionic powers.

EDIT: And here is the edit. This is the list of powers that I'll be using. I'll assume that I 'have' other powers, but I will simply not use it unless it is ok'd, or from the XPH. I only included ones from Complete Psionic, since XPH should be core for this campaign. Not quite as long a list as I thought it would be.

Well, the Spell Compendium is a full-size published book. But this is only the relatively low-level divine stuff with some merit to it. Just wait until I'm about to learn the Anyspell spell (from the Spell domain)...

Also, I'm probably going to need to take Craft Wondrous Item so that I can make myself gear for half price and have money left over for scribing spells... because, you may have noticed, I have a *lot* of spells I want to scribe. On that note, Red, how do you feel about the improved spellbook construction stuff in Complete Arcane (page 140)? It doesn't affect your actual spells at all, you can just make the spellbook (a.k.a. Prayerbook) have more hp and hardness and pages to carry spells in... And a slipcase cover to keep it dry... And also, is there any way to try a bunch of craft(bookbinding) checks before the game begins to try and make myself a better spellbook?

I would be willing to donate 1000 gp towards shoruke getting a Boccob's Blessed Book if it is compatible with the class...

Spoiler: Power List (click to show/hide)
Cerebral horror augment doesn't increase the damage, just the DC.
Damp power is awesome and I wish there was a variant that was a spell.
I think you meant Dimensional twister. Dimension Hop is 10, aug +5, personal teleport.
Earth walk isn't quite like the Earth Glide movement mode, it just is something like Woodland Stride + Attack while climbing a stone surface
Energy Lance augment only increases damage
Heavy Earth augment prevents the user from being slowed (they are never made prone)
No to Syncronicity
Urban strider... where did you get that description? It's a +5 to Jump and Balance checks, no balance on sloped surfaces, autosucceed 5ft or less jumps, standing high/long jumps as if running, and... oh, there it is. The last sentence. Move through crowds at full normal speed. But the augment is "walk normally" on any city surface.

Sorry. I was completing the list at around midnight, and the augments were just intended to be used as reference for me. Glad you caught the mistakes. As for urban strider, I think it would be fun to be able to run up walls and clothes lines.

As for shoruke's list, he who asks for much must wait long. I'll have it up tonight or tomorrow night; but up through Divine Sacrifice looks good.
