So there's a session this week? I think I can make it.

Hey guys, I just checked this thread and saw that this campaign would fit perfectly into my timeschedule. Do you still have room for another player?

Possibly, and if so delayed a bit. On a side note, Fridays may get busy for me in the near future between robotics and MUN, so I might need to steal the time from West Marches instead, as Saturday nights are decidedly less contended for me

Sever is up!
I concur wholeheartedly. I would've posted, but triple posting (and double posting, for that matter) is kind of bad etiquette.

Well, no session. However, 350 XP (mid-fight, even) to RAM and Dwarmin's characters.

Server is down, although I did  get started on a loot generation macro, but it was on the server and I no longer have access to it...

I suppose I can go back up for 5-10 more minutes if you want to copypasta it.

Sorry, I was elsewhere. Copying it would let me continue to work on it. But it is probably a bit difficult to get the server to line up again. If you were to copy/paste the contents of the macros I would try to continue working on them. They are in the token repository, on a token named 'The S.R.D.' and should all start with 'loot'. But if you do not feel like doing so then don't. it really isn't important...

Under the presumption of there being people. I will update the thread title with the time the server goes up, probably 10:30 PM GMT, in about 35 minutes from this post.

Okay, loot and XP may end up being later tonight. However, there have been key plot updates, meaning it's more than just an escort quest. I will post the later portion of the chatlog, starting with the appearance of the Druid, but for a preliminary tl;dr:

  • You can't just go through the forest; you need to "purge" a bandit base of "evil"
  • The druid mentioned (southern) dwarves coming to the forest with "blades [to be] bloodied"; see below statement for meaning of this.
  • Lord Urist got a Sending from his family: "Patriarch and seven sons killed in Citadel. Westerners our allies. Southerners suspected. Be alert, return to Nist Akath with all haste. Moradin be with ye."
  • There is almost a Clan War for the dwarves
  • Idaho Bones has a (still unknown) reason for being with the expedition
