Store the gems to sell for later, unless someone actually has a REAL use for the gems that I'm not aware of, split the pieces of eight equally, dump the hide armor since it's; to large to use, smells horrible, is hide and no one would buy it.  Keep the morning stars since you never know when large bludgeons could come in handy.

Also, new rule: you can make history canon. Such as the Domain of Large Spiders (The original spider is named Helob). And Southern Dwarvishness.

Also, the seasons are a little wonky, since this world is a Klein Bottle.

Edit: wait, no they aren't. The seasons are caused by magic. The solar cycle is a giant flaming elephant doing laps from north (as it were) to south, across the middle of the sky. The world seems just as flat; a (purely hypothetical; none exist so far) map drawn of the world would be the fundamental polygon of a Klein bottle, with the far south meshing well with the far north backwards. The east and west just mesh normally. Seasons are the same everywhere. Heat differences are caused by magic.

Any chance of me being able to decide that there is an Archivist's Guild? Or that all mage guilds (in sufficiently populous cities) have archivists in them? It won't be too bad if the answer is "no", there's always churches and temples and the like... I even have a spell to find some of them >.>

If nothing else, I think we should make it canon that the Githyanki destroyed the Illumians' extraplanar uber-library, like it says in Races of Destiny. Otherwise, the justification for Syelyi's and Veshnoal's Cabal being on the material plane is kinda shaky. Also, if we ever visit the plane of shadow, we need to stop by Elirhondas. That place is basically Dwarf Fortress: Illumian Edition. Quest hooks just write themselves there, seriously. Ever-changing geography? We need to secure a source of new magical building materials. We're under attack by fiends or what have you? Go kill some. Our city is on top of a volcano? Awesome dungeon crawl to kill the guy who's trying to make it erupt.

On that note, what are the odds of finding a Githyanki in this campaign? Because if we do I am liable to assassinate it unless I figure it would be of great help to me alive.

I don't know about an Archivist's guild, but you could always have him be a part of one of the Psion houses, the Tailire or whatever they are called. Olive has strong connections to them, or at least the shaper house.

Hm... You may find a Githyanki. It may be a Quest NPC. No, not Lord Urist. A side quest NPC, or a post-journey quest NPC. You might also find a Githzerai willing to help you out, or who would help after you fight alongside the 'yanki against mind flayers. Or something.

Just a warning, but Shoruke and I will most likely attack the Githyanki. The Illumians and the Githyanki are like Vulcans and Romulans (to use a Star Trek reference), they REALLY hate each other.

So any news of whether I can use the Quori Nightmare class as a Synad?

Should be interesting when we meed the Synad. Olive speaks their racial language. At least I think I took Synad, that's the one with three heads that sometimes show when you don't look directly at them right?

I wonder how a language for that works, probably has some sort of echo based thing, to go with three heads talking through one mouth or something...

I suppose you can...

Synads don't actually have three heads, just three minds.

Actually, when all power points are expended featureless misty heads appear over the shoulders of the Synad. You can catch a glimpse of the heads in dim light as well. So yes they do have three heads. Do spells that grant bite attacks grant three bite attacks? Not that I'd ever use one, but out of curiosity.

I'd thought more like the three misty heads were more like semi-real projections of the rest of the Synad's mind

There will not be a game Friday. I have reasons to expect this to die, as well, in which case I will let people know.
