I'm picturing a set of cogwheels with fine engravings on the teeth depicting the succession of dwarven royalty, which is actually kind of awesome.

Then I looked into Legends mode and learned that the last of the dwarven royalty died something like thirty years ago when everyone in the capital starved, which is kind of sad.

Then I noticed "Stukos Reignedcaves is admiring the crown."

Clearly this is a prophecy.  It even came with a possession.  A vision of the future, sent by Armok Langgud himself!

Now who the hell is Stukos Reignedcaves?

Quick note, Drakon.

You're 3 days before deadline, so I suggest you finish it fast.

That's one heck of a mechanism.  It actually has two pictures of the other mechanism artifact.  Clearly more insane mechanical things need to be done :)

Stukos Reignedcaves is the possessed dwarf that made the artifact. :P

Oh.  Well that's a bit presumptuous of him.  That makes this a little less of a prophecy and more of a peculiarly dwarven self-insert fanfic.

"This is a masterful engraving of Stukos Reignedcaves.  He is a dwarf king.  He has fairy wings,  a unicorn horn, and his eyes change colour with his moods.  Stukos Reignedcaves is brooding.  The artwork relates to the brooding of Stukos Reignedcaves at WeatheredCastle in 553."

It's hard work keeping the records updated to maximum accuracy as well as living in my own secluded corner with everything engraved, multiple statues, a tomb already prepared, and my own private dining room.  Not to mention plenty of storage for my stuff.  I need every bit of sleep I can get.

Well, like I said, I should've kept my mouth shut.

At least it ended up better than mine did while I was messing around with the last save.

The human caravan found the ambush and were shortly killed along with a useless dwarf that had no reason to be outside (I have no idea what the humans macemen were doing).  I sent the military to deal with them and claimed the humans belongings as my own which resulted in the usual zerg rush of people heading to grab stuff. By this time the military had finished off most of the goblins and were chasing the rest off the map while screaming something about "FOR THE GLORY OF OUR BAUXITE MECHANISMS!"

A snatcher decided he wanted something from the conga line of dwarves and showed his face, which was promptly used as a target by a hunter that chased him to the other end of the map.
