There is a large chance that I won't be able to join next thursday, as I'll just get back from a 'weekend'. My apologies. If you want, you can let my char do anything (within reason ;) ) to help the party.

E:
"Go north", he said. "It will be fun", he said.
Well, apart from a pack of moles on steroids and a worm on something much stronger,... No, even then it was terrible. A day's march in the desert heat, listening to the ranting of the golem about his name - I must say, I forgot it again, he won't be happy. I'll just try to call him 'hey you there' until I remeber - anyway, a forced march trough scorching sand, listening to the aforementioned ranting, hoping this wizard won't blow himself up and us with it, and wondering when the knight will pee on something he shouldn't. Or, in the case of that kid, hit on something he shouldn't.
So then there were the moles. They were big, and angry, they could dig, and they had shells. Nasty fellows. Interesting fact: they have a nerve running just under the back of their neck ridge. An important nerve. I think it's their spinal, hard to tell. A good stomp on that area should stun it for a while, a dagger might kill it.
And that leaves us with the worm. No interesting facts - even bigger, even angrier, and made of equal parts monstrosity and mouth. Oh, maybe one note: it explodes when you throw a burning slut in its stomach. I think it's the burning that does it. That, or she was poledancing, and the thing got a nosebleed, blood has no nose to get out, pressure builds up, boom. No, definitely the burning.

Note to self: being silly apparently helps me cope with the fact that I'm still a prisoner. Or I am actually going insane.

Well, other than our little excursion, everything's same old: knight got resurrected and slightly more crazy, wizard fought him, is still fighting him, actually, and golem is proudly watching his glass balls full of sand. Not a euphemism.
Not that bringing sand to a desert helps, but hey, I did sillier things when I was young. I hope he's happy with has sand balls.

You forget, the name change was at the Aglaia AFTER the worm and stuff.

(Balls of sand...

What have I done. Why couldn't they be geodesic spheres. Why?)

Well guys, with Eagle not joining us, and I'm feeling pretty crappy this morning. I think I'm going to go ahead and cancel todays session.

If people are free, I can run a pickup game either sunday or tuesday. Let me know if any of that works for you. Otherwise we will try again next week.

I'm back! If you run it Sunday, I'll be late, Tuesday's fine.

Sorry Pyro, with Eagle saying he would be late, I assumed we wouldn't be playing today(yesterday by now I suppose).

Tuesday is still a possibility, but I think I might rather have that day off for my own activities.

Hmm...

Well, the most I can really say is you're the GM.

If you want to not do a session, the session doesn't get done.

Your choice, really, the rest of us can do whatever we want, but it's your choice.

Sorry Pyro, knew it would be a long night last night during the Azure game. So wanted to sleep in here today.

Anyways, look forward to this on thursday! Fun times ahead.

I think I'll freak out the other characters in the next session.

Ok guys I've got some bad news.

I've decided that I don't really want to continue this game as it is. I've got no motivation for it, and while I know we barely got started, it's the same issue I'm having with the other forum games right now. If I'm not interested or motivated to work on them, it really does feel like work.

I think the biggest issue I've had with this game from the start was a lack of structure. The big freeform idea I tried to pursue just left a lot of work on me, and gave more power to the players than I like. It was hard to make a character grow, and the sheer randomness of it all just let stats barely matter.

Perhaps at a later time I will revive this idea. But for now, I think I'd like to stick to the two Pokemon games I have going here in the forums, and enjoy them while I still can.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I wish I could Join another game like this, but I'm a horrible at finding stuff like that...

On my part, I tried to take as much work off of you as I could. It seemed simple.

I agree, it was a nice game. It's a bit sad that it has to end, but I understand if you're not in the mood, and I'm very grateful for the sessions we played.

Also, I forbid you to feel guilty about stopping this ;)
