You can still be a merchant and keep yourself hooded. And yeah, I'd think that's just a general cultural thing.

Big, you get move+1, other people are -1 to hit and you are +1 to hit                    carnivorus means you have to eat meat

I think big would also apply for the Spiders too, considering the thorax and abdomen.

Males are the ones who fly though, for the mating flight, young queens do as well, but loose that ability when they get older.

Found a nice generic price list for rpg equipments.

Only thing it doesn't have is weapons and armor. And it seems to be based on a generic gold type price. Seems pretty reasonable though. (might be a bit complicated for this, but it saves a ton of work if you can just point players there)


Here's an interesting list on trade good prices. Might be nice to have around for Plunder and such:

However this uses a copper-silver-gold-etc type pricing system. So might not be as useful to translate costs.

I'm debating a pet cat, as my companion. Not sure spider and parrot go well together. Then again... spider and cat... *shrug* black cat seems like it might fit though.
