War Council

Ok, calm down there children.... I like the sound of miniturization, more stuff is always better! Now, Sheb, can we look at designing a garrison ship (probably after miniturization). I imagaine no engines, lots boom.

I guess keep up the search for Gladstone, the elusive planet. Even if we can't invade right away, we'll know it's location. If it turns out to be too great of a problem, we may want to initiate a scorched earth policy, so if we can use it, burn it to the ground and salt the earth it was built upon (pretty sure that won't stop them building there.... consider it psychological warfare).

Once we get a good deal of deffensive ships, that'll free up our armorks and increase our offensive forces. Exccccelent.

Also, yes, doomsday weapons. I would like a terrorstar please, I think it's time the War Council had a new seat of power.

(NRDL, I suggest we plan an emergency coup if things get out of hand, hopefully no one else reads this. They can't see the colour red, can they?)

S.P.Y. Network

WE WANT FUNDING!

That said, we hearily suggest converting to a republic.

Thanks for the planet.  Could we get a close-up view of my new planet?

Hm, how long and how expensive would it be to reach maximum infilitration of the Krynn?  We really should shift to spying on the Thalans, as they're the real threat long-term.

Start infilitrating the War Council.  Kill them if they attempt a coup.  They can't read purple, right?   ;D

A question for Colonial Affairs: Pretty much all of our economic worlds have hit the default pop cap, and despite some of them being covered in economic buildings they still aren't producing enough tax profit. Should farms be built on these worlds?

You haven't already? No wonder we're not earning much money. Yes, for fuck's sake, yes! Make sure to keep approval high, especially if we switch to a better government.

When I said we need more ships, I was thinking we needed more transports, probably. Or constructors, which may need a redesign if they can be improved. Yeah, an economy starbase around Earth would kick things up a few notches.

I must object to building Terror Stars. Any planets we destroy could of been productive and useful members of our great race. You want to turn factories and money producers into slag? Why? Because it's easier? You sicken me sometimes, War Corps.

Begin work on an emergency escape planet for when the War Council goes crazy or Espionage backstabs us all. Or the Krynn get their shit together, whichever comes first.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

alt all research until we are given complete and utter power.
give the fault to insufficient fundings.
require all the treasury.
and hack into every personal monetary account to obtain it all.
Go forth, IT subdivision of the research center! and remember! WRITE IN BLUE! THEY CAN'T SEE THE BLUE!

Reply's will be given in order of posting  :)

shadenight, there are no more invasion techs that I can see.

timferius, I typically design garrison ships to have lots of defenses with only one or two weapons. The harder it is to lose HP, the longer they last. Of course, that's an issue for S.H.E.B. to deal with.

Ahra, Soulchopper is a good name  :D

EuchreJack, funding will resume next year, the exact amount depending on current income. We still need to make a little money, right?
I have no idea how long it would take to get maximum espionage on the Krynn. Most of it depends on how many spies are in service, and how long they last. We still have 4 spies in reserve and one on a Krynn planet (apparently in DEEP cover. He/she hasn't been touched since being placed near the very start of the war).
I will get a picture of Yeoman Prime if I can remember it.

Mr. Person, I was still going by the old order of not building farms due to the morale penalties involved. Some worlds do have farms already, but not many.
Two worlds are building constructors currently: Pelagon III to continue upgrading the mining starbase, and Delta Ceti IV is working on an influence base to convince some Thalan worlds to enter the fold.

(In character)
Just as planned! Fight, my little pawns, fight! Mwahahahaha!
...er, is this thing on? DAMMIT.

Oh right. I forgot about that. Ok, well, not much we can do if approval isn't high enough. Well, we could research approval boosting buildings...

Bonus points if it's called that because the ship's captain used to ride motorcycles and is really into music.

Alrighty folks, I have updated the councillor list on the first page. If you are not on there and are still active, tell me how much of an idiot I am and I will fix it!

However, since we haven't had any posts from the Diplomacy Corps for two full updates, both members have been dropped. Looking for diplomats to fill the void!
