Ok, I started up a quick game to get the proper techs, using the current majority (Indust Party) for simplicity. Values may be different in the actual game:

ALSO!

Voting for political parties ends at 10:00 pm PST. At that point I will start the game and post a "Status of the Civ" update to get everyone situated. The first turn will be played out approximately 24 hours from that time, so people in different time zones have every opportunity to get their voices heard.

Great to see you have a schedule for this Sirus. Also, I appreciate you taking into consideration people in all the different timezones. You're being very professional about this. I'm sorry you had to read thread all those posts to count the vote though, you could have used a poll for convenience sake. :P

Speaking of the voting, Universalists are only one behind! I'm sure our party was hurt by the dividing votes, since people voted for thing like the Populists and War Party which have no chance of winning instead of the Universalists which also give a population bonus and a defense bonus. We're going to be Ralph Nader'd to death here! Gah! >:(

And then what? This tech will only take around three months to complete, faster if I build more labs or devote more money to research.
