So... you want a different monarch that will also do nothing?  They literally do nothing in a fort.

I go over to check her to see what she likes and if ill have to drown her and it turns out that she is a humanO_o Im not joking my dwarven civ is ruled by a human :(

Ye lucky dog. My civ is ruled by a goblin (That has also been general of an enemy civ before that. There's a story here, somehow)
I'm working hard to lure this usurper into my fortress (a few more road, and vengeance will be ours... MWAHAHAHAHA!)

So if you kill a human/goblin monarch, does it need a grave or is okay to leave it to rot on the refuse pile without worrying about haunting ghosts?

If you make humans war trainable, you might have a War Queen.

even dwarven monarchs do not issue mandates.  as historical figures, they do not have preferences.

According to two of the artifacts my current fortress has produced, the civilization we're part of, the Iron of Harmony, had a consort of the gloom woman as King in 45 and a gloom monster bride became Queen in 62. It's currently 128, not sure if gloom monsters still rule our civilization or not.

Nope. When historical figures are captured by night creatures and twisted into cruel mockeries of nature, the game retroactively states them as having been such for their entire life. You lost two monarchs to night creatures. Avenge your civ's honor.

I disagree. My queen is currently in the military training in full masterwork steel armour and a artifact candy battleaxe. Once she trains up a bit I'm going to have her as a dedicated arena fighter and have her fight against prisoners and viscious beasts for the entertainment of the diners in the dining room above. I'd consider that pretty useful
