Dwayne charges, while the rest give covering fire. Only shot that actually hit was in the snipers leg.

The sniper falls back from the line of fire, catching himself before falling from the narrow ledge.  His rifle falls from his hands, bounces, and begins it's long fall to the ground thousands of feet below.  He quickly starts bandaging his wound, and injects a local anisthetic.
Cpl. Scott : Dammit! They got me.  I'll live, but I can't walk.
Lt2 Wilson : Hold your position, we'll send someone up for you as soon as we can.
He slides down the ladder, jumping off at the main floor. 
Pvt. Aelman : The door won't hold up against that fire for long sir.
Lt2 Wilson : It only has to for a few more seconds.
He starts moving into a firing position at the door.
The elevator moves swiftly upwards.

"Live fire." Hrothgar commented, his voice echoing through the radio frequency of his squad's helms, "Shields at the ready, turn those things on the second you make contact."
Inside the building, the axeman pressed the button for the elevator and stepped on. "Boarding."
"Wait for the bows, Axe. They'll back you up." Hrothgar hissed as the two crossbowmen ran passed him, their weapons coming to life with a gentle whir.

Yes, yes they are laser crossbows.

While Joe and Dwayne run at the enemy building, Frank (guy up top) slides down the edge of his post and lans facing totally not insane John.
"Quiet, Frank. They might know we're here."

As the Lieutenant gets into position, the door swings open.  Steam vents from a ruptured pneumatic tube.  The soldiers inside both open fire , as does the one at the window above.  An enemy bullet catches Pvt. Aelman in the side of the chest, probably fatally. 
Lt2. Wilson: We are under attack!  Two men are down, and we are outnumbered.  We need immediate support!
Sgt. Anders: Roger, we are on are way.  I'll try to get some air in there.  Hold tight and keep your heads down.
Lt2. Wilson: Be quick, I think I got one of them but we're in bad position.
Sgt. Anders: Should be no more then five minutes.
On the top floor, the sniper's leg no longer hurts, but he can't move it properly.  He throws a grenade, doubting he will hit anything but knowing it won't be one of his squadmates.

Gunshots still rang out from up above.
"Entering the elevator." The axemen stated into his helmet, the two bowmen dashing forward to join him as the battery on their shields sprang to life, engulfing the bronze disks in buzzing blue haze.
"Roger that." came Hrothgar's reply a moment later as he gazed up at the overhang above him.
