A bit of an embarrassing question here; is there a way to bring up a map of the dungeon level you're on while playing in non-tiles versions? I'm way too used to playing tiles.

Watwar5:  A couple things:

1) You should only include the TEAMNAME and TEAMMEMBERS lines if you're the captain, and the TEAMCAPTAIN line if you're not.

2) The TEAMCAPTAIN/NAME/MEMBERS lines should be at the very top, above the NOTE FOR PLAYERS... line.

Having a character dying during the ascension with the Orb would be a sure way for me to throw my computer through the window.

Getting sleepy enough it's time to quit for the night. MuWZ is doing ridiculously good (for my playthroughs, anyway). D12, XL 10. Resistance robe, guardian amulet, and a number of nice wands. Four star sif worshipper (found altar on D2!), able to spam ice beasts around well enough, already. S'just going entirely too well, heh.

The new XP system makes things entirely easier. Leveling up ice magic beating rats to death with a whip is just... just yeah.

I'm also going to sleep now, I'm trying to go for a mixed fighter-caster character and I'm loving how it plays so far. Apparently heroism+berserker rage can save you from most difficult situations ;P
Anyway, the Engravers are doing very well so far, I'm really having lots of fun.

Yes, your tourney points count even if your team isn't finalized. Whatever team you join gets whatever points you have acumulated at any point.

Do I have to add # TEAMCAPTAIN nameofcaptain to the options file or just the other 5?

E: All soapers need to mention their CAO/CDO names.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but my CAO/CDO name is "Tammuz", not "tammuz". Good games to everyone, and whether your already to Zot online, or you struggle to get past D:4, remember to play like a dwarf and go as deep as you can and die in the most bad-ass way possible.

edit again: huhu, VogonPoet's username is vogonpoetB12... also note that all you captains will have to update the files again after the tourney starts, because your options file will be reset to default for the new version. (right?)

Oops. Fixed that, and yes, I had to add it to the new options.
