Yea, I went to Keelie myself. I feel embarrassed for Valve. First live stream of their game and their staff and server managers ruin it.

I think I'm going to skip out these opening matches while they fix these ridiculous problems... and hopefully hire better commentators.

Hm, this game looks nothing special, at least it isn't better than LoL. There are some problems with LoL, like there is no "clan support" in it, or there is only 1 map [5v5], but sooner or later they gonna "fix" these probs as well...I am pretty sure.

Errr... even if it's not the best or first, DotA's essentially the game that defined the genre that LoL now occupies.

This isn't the thread to derail into better than LoL/HoN arguments anyhow.

Derail...what? I expected something _MUCH_ better to be honest, this is why I compared it to LoL. I am also pretty sure that LoL will remain the most popular game in the genre.

Because invariably as soon as someone starts better than debates over MOBAs - the threads turn into huge opinion shitstorms, either way let's all keep this thread about DotA.

You must not hang around the LoL or HoN or any other gaming forums where you mention one or the other :P Heck, the last RPS mentioning of such turned into a free-for-all and they're one of the most civil gaming sites on the web.
