I tried playing this game and didn't know what was going on and scary people shouted at me.  I do know how to buy things now though.

Playing with bots its a must if you are new to the game, it will make people less scary and scary people less sad. Also watching some gameplay helps a lot i guess to learn the basics, last hitting, lane control, warding, hero-roles, etc.

arc warden is wildly overpowered.  Midas was duplicated in the initial version.  Though that's been removed, think about the dps output of 2 heroes, 6 images, and 4 necrobook summons.  The fellow who mentioned this strategy was killing towers faster than tiny with ac and agh.  His other skills are quite strong as well

Wyvern doesn't seem too ridiculous, didn't really play a real game and I just screwed around.

Ah I wonder how they fix him then thanks for the info

In other news no new hero this week.  :'( I guess there saving it for the halloween update maybe will get Slark, Medusa, and Centaur Warchief.

They changed ice path in the recent patch to all DotAs. Now you get stunned if you touch it.
Yeah he pretty much the best support in the game right now you can lvl him up anyways all 3 of his spells are good.

You're missing the point.  There's no delay on the freeze in ice path.  There's supposed to be.
