With the first 1v1 tournament finishing soon, I am going to start second one. The problem is if I can find enough players.

If you want to play in second Bay12 DotA 1v1 tournament, leave me a message on Steam, here on Bay12 or write a post in the thread. You can also recommend your friends or other people who want to play. I will be waiting for 16 players to start the tournament (it could take a while).

Rules of the tournament are the same as in previous one.

I am in for the second tournament.

For what it's worth, I think it would be awesome to have everyone put at least one common item into a pool at the start.

Even if it was only a single item each, it would end up being a pretty significant, especially if someone knowledgeable in DOTA trading took charge of them and turned them into a rare or more valuable (single) item.

I think those sort of fell apart. I'm in for the next 1v1 tournament, though!

What would people say to meeting up in DOTA 2 at 3PM (in PDT) this coming Friday to play a few lobby matches? Probably captain's draft for some, maybe a standard draft using only one tavern, or just all-pick shenanigans.

Examples Times for Other Zones
US East Coast: 6 PM
GMT: 11 PM
China (gmt+8): 7 AM

It could be moved a few hours either way depending on the number of asian folks/eastern european folks that are interested.

That works for me. There is no need for a full fledged 5v5 tournament for me, but it would be nice to play some lobby matches among us for fun.

Oh, and I insist: Someone needs to create a new thread to keep track of the 1v1 tournament among other things. We can ask toady to lock this one and move to the new one.

I second the motion to create a new thread. With a proper intro post.

I have made a new thread - http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=131841.0. Hopefully with a pretty good intro :), but accepting any criticism on it.

Please migrate into it. I will ask Toady to lock this one down.

Ummmm, what? You made a 1v1 tournament thread and are asking the general Dota 2 thread to be closed down?

No I made a new general Dota 2 thread, with better OP and 1v1 tournament posts.

Wondering what the point in closing down a 245 page thread would be, despite the lack of an OP, no matter how finely crafted.
