So... wonder what the new roaming mechanic means for bots? Will they actually roam now, instead of 5-manning mid from the 10 minute mark on? I certainly hope so if they just added BH to the bot list.

So, a bunch of to-be-released bot builds have been discovered.

Am I the only one terrified by the idea of a Puck bot? Especially one that grabs Phase Shift at 2, then ignores it until 12? Seriously, AI-level reaction timing on Puck will be scary.

That list does include a Chen bot that goes Persuasion first. Still, no tags that seem to imply jungling - from the bot tagging, he's classed as a hard support. That said, I can't imagine a Chen bot being successful in lane - stealing the enemy lane creeps will do little besides reduce your team's experience and feed more gold/levels to the other team. Maybe his weighting will be changed once a basic jungle AI is implemented?

AI level reaction and timing on Phase Shift is always scary.

And judging by the Axe build, I reckon there's gonna be a jungle AI implemented soonish.

isn't that the standard build?

O_O

I thought it was Orb - PS - Twinkle Dust - Max Orb and then level PS and Twinkle Dust evenly, with ult when possible.

The problem isn't the reaction timing of the PS, it's the fact that by staying in it longer you can use it again more quickly. :)

If you're just dodging attacks, 1 level of PS is enough (if your timing is good). Levels 2-3 help you escape with Orb, level 4 gives you enough time to escape with Blink. So I guess it depends on whether you need a reliable escape mechanism or not.

Puck is primarily an early game magic nuker like qop. If you forgo one of his major nukes for a minor amount of increased survivability then I would argue you're playing him wrong.

For example, the only reason his phase shift is so good at escape is because it had almost the same cooldown as blink dagger. But you don't get that until way later. So then the only way to escape is to use the orb. But if you use the orb to escape how are you going to hurt anything? Similarly, if you use the orb to fight then you're not going to be able to escape anyway.

You're better off maxing burst damage and getting really fed. You'll get your blink dagger faster and actually be useful in a fight with big damage and long silence. Not to mention you can actually push and farm.

Maxing phase shift is essentially the same thing as maxing nightmare on bane.

Which is awesome when you are in the same lane as kotl.

Someone dug into Dota's code and found references for future items and Aghs upgrades.

Here it is: http://www.playdota.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1276992

Aghs upgrades:
Batrider:
[A1MV] Flaming Lasso
Cooldown rescaled from 90/70/50 to 130/90/50 (why!?)
Increased duration from 2.5/3.0/3.5 to 4.0/4.5/5.0

Edit: =| 5 seconds? Really?

Sniper:
[A1AU] Assassinate
Reduced casting time from 1.7s to 0.01s. In other words, almost no casting time.

edit: Rubick gets this for free heh

Chaos Knight
[A1AY] Phantasm
Duration of illusions increased from 24 seconds to 30 seconds (at all levels)
Cooldown decreased from 140 seconds to 90 seconds (at all levels)
Mana cost increased from 125/200/275 to 175/225/275

I thought sniper's 1.7 was a channel or something, and not a pure casting animation thing?
