Doo eet.

No.

somebody care to explain?

It's an old porn mod. It was made for the Mac and when people tried to use it on PCs it got all glitchy and people started making up stories about hidden content or haunted programs and blah blah blah. It was really just poorly rendered porn.

At least that's my understanding from having googled it 5 minutes ago.

Stworca, how long/many mods did you intend this to be? Because if you get more people telling you to keep adding stuff it's going to get insane. XD

ah. knowing the community i thought it was some kind of really really old forgotten by god custom made esp file of ultra insane difficulty hidden somewhere in the subspace continuum.

Great House Dagoth. I'd advise fixing the bugs in advance, but that's probably impossible (as they seem to shift with each setup).

Posting to join in the fun seeing as i wasted spent meaningfully a good 4 years or so of my life on this game.

Oh, the new thread will be the actual LP. This one was meant to be trashed and spammed into oblivion (god, how i hate TES4) so that we can have a decent mod pack.

It will take me a good few days to get it all working, as i have quite a few extra things planned. I don't think that i will toss in Tamriel Rebuilt though, as i haven't tested it, and megamods such as this have to be tested. Perhaps i'll add it during the let's play.
Dark Brotherhood mod sounds nice, however.. We won't really need any quests to tell us to murder people *wink wink* *spoiler* I may add it though, just to see how it goes!

I'm actually grateful for no armor mod suggestions. We're not aiming at making a powerhouse character (well, we ARE, but not due to items!) and overpowered characters kill the joy of Morrowind.

As for my experience with the game (The question popped once or twice)
Well, obviously i did a few mods "back in the day", and played the game many, many times. I had something over 1500 pages of journal entries most of the time.. But i KNOW i still haven't tackled everything Morrowind has to offer.
Despite casting city-wide fireballs, killing entire populations, having more quest entries than one can read, and more loot than on can carry fit in Balmora. I still know that i haven't done it all. (I guess this is what makes me play the game.)

The PC (laptop actually) is a i3-370M Intel with HD5470 Radeon and 3GB DDR3 memory. Not a high-end perhaps, but it runs games like F:NV with no problems. I'll try to find a good combination of texture mods.

I have a somewhat better stationary PC, but.. Well.. I'm not planning on doing any LP's on it (except for the god damn Ust Natha)

Glad you're doing this LP Stworca, and I'm afraid I don't know any mods.  But can you please tell me how different this is from Oblivion ( I play it ) and why dont like Oblivion that much?

If i was to list all reasons, i would have to elaborate quite significantly, and thus the next ten posts would be filled with my rambling. Let's narrow it down to a short :
Repetitiveness, Level Scaling, Ridiculous plot holes, Two voice actors total, The same god damn animations for every NPC, Persuasion mini games, Dumbed down abilities, The fact, that EVERYTHING was in the colors of rainbows, and was shining like balls. "Oh my god! It's a bloodthirsty daedra.. shining, bloodthirsty daedra, on a glade full of shining flowers and sparkling rocks.."
Level Scaling should be mentioned at least ten times, and it still wouldn't describe how BAD that idea was. After you reach level XX, every single unwashed, dirt eating, outside sleeping bandit will be equipped with the most powerful armor set in the game. Am i exaggerating? Try fighting the unwashed arena champion on the hardest difficulty. After you hit him 500-800 times then perhaps his health will start going down.
The guards in each city are always higher level than you (YOU stop the god damn deadra, guards!)
..And having 10 "Close Generic Oblivion gate" quests in a row.. No.
Not to mention the absolutely broken, overpowered gear of 100% damage reflection, 100% chameleon, 100% absorb magicka.. How fun! NOT.
And Many, many more things.

For me Oblivion was one of the most disastrous mistakes in the last decade.

Aside from Graphics, combat system, lifting objects and dark brotherhood quest, it was worse than TES3 in every single possible way.

You, viewer, are entitled to your own opinion, and if you disagree with me - I'm fine with that. But no arguments are going to change my mind. Please, let's not talk about TES4. Thank you.

Oi! (back to installing mods!)

It lacks some of the game-breaking elements (level scaling level scaling and level scaling)
The guilds are actually competing with each other (and you will have some tough decisions ahead of you) The plot, while equally unlikely, isn't as ridiculous (even though it annoys me that you can not.. go the OTHER way.)
The great families and their multi-front wars... bla bla bla.. (insert wall of text here)

I guess it was just THAT much darker and more "ballsy". You had more options too.

It was very RNG oriented when it came to skill and combat checks, and leveling up sneaking was just.. no.. But-

The best thing would be for you to play it yourself, and see the differences.

I recommend the Privateer's Hold alternate starting dungeon. I find adventuring through a monster and pirate infested dungeon to be a bit more fun than filling out paper work. Additionally it provides some experience and a few pieces of gear to use/sell.

On a side note, I prefer Oblivion to Morrowind.

sigh.
i went and re-installed morrowind.
now since stworca is in Mod-installing process, could someone make me a nice list of mods compatible one with the other like a "megabundle" which adds interest but not overpowering? (or at least, fixes)
