Looks like Melkor fell off the map. Pisano, your up. Use my save and see if you can survive.

Hate to do this, but I'm in the middle of a ceilingchew turn and I'm going out of town for three weeks starting on Sunday, so I won't have time to do this turn now.  I'd be happy to take a turn later though if you want to throw me on the back of the queue.

By the way I'd love to join this... also would there be a better way of sorting out no migrations other than setting max dwarf population to 0, just so we have new babies being born, or is that also not allowed?

Hmm... I posted a 'lil while ago saying I'd like a turn but my name wasn't added to the list and also common lets get this thing rolling already!  ;)

Divide by Zero is up, and I am thinking of continuing the game, to see if I meet such a grim end so fast.

1st granite, 27, Early Spring

For years I have wandered these deserts, I have longed for company, but moreso, for someone to come and put me to rest. I was a dwarf who long ago was slain. Now I haunt these deserts endlessly, waiting for somebody to... wait a minute, what is this?

A massive pit in the ground. This looks like... something my fellow dwarves would create! I must descend immediately!

At last, I am with the dwarves. They look friendly enough, though there's some kind of ominous look on their faces. They look hopeless... Well, I can change that. While they cannot see me, I shall search for... hey look, it's a random carpenter. I don't think anyone will mind if I just take over things for him.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

With that, the reign of Zero has begun! However, this is quite a small number of dwarves to work with. I'll be sure to set up some mechanisms for defense.

Ack, I'm really sorry guys. But with school going (I'm doing IB this year and next... let's just say that I'm not quite used to 4 hours of homework a week per class yet.)I can't really keep up with this. Dwarf Fortress is a really time-consuming game, and I feel I can get more work done if I don't play it. May I be skipped until further notice?

Hehe, no kidding. If you load up your game, abandoned the fort, and look around the map, you will find half the map is evil.

i just started on Cudgelpriests 2hours ago also because other palyers couldn't stick to the schedule.  then i read this now. I am going to have to skip my turn, can't do two forts at the same time.  my head will explode.  Sorry guys.  But I don’t want to give up, just move my spot to the end please.

does the 24hour rule apply, because the moment I unpause the Cudgelpriests all hell brakes loose and a tantram spiral starts, it's looking pretty fail and could all be over quick
