> Initiate conversation, ask where the fortress is and if there's anything I shuld know abaut curent news. Also explin that I just migratteed, list my skills, etc.

You start talking to the dwarf. She looks surprised by the ferocity of your onslaught!
"Uwah! Uhm... the fortress is right here, it's just a bit empty."
"Well, I'm a bit in a hurry and can't tell you all the news right now. In short terms, the zombie apocalypse has come..."

>_

He will offer an uneasy grin to the strange dwarf woman.
As he waits for a reply, he shall attempt to discreetly sniff in her direction for any scent of danger.
Oh, and when she inevitably lurches at him to eat his brains, he shall hit her with the flask, fend her off, and run screaming back the way he came.

tracking check: d12=3, d12-2=3
hit: d12=1, evade: d12-2=8
You fail to hit the neutrally smelling dwarven lady while grinning uneasiely...

running check: d12=12, d12-3=-2
But you are fast enough to run away before she can even try to eat your brains!

>_

You climb up the ladder. Looking out of the hole in the floor you see another dwarf holding a bottle. From the narrow tunnel you hear somebody shout:
"Braaaaanes!"

>_

"I must go further!"

INZANCEPTION.

You go further along the hall and reach its end. Several closed floodgates are set into the wall, one of them is stained with blood.
The humming becomes lower here.

Zan absconds to the lever room (the grey one) and pulls the left one. Then he checks on the floodgates.

"Gah!! Not another one! No, you're not getting my brains, either!"
Rovod tosses his flask at the 'zombie' coming up the ladder, then runs panicking back towards stage right, away from his pursuer.

Zan absconds to the lever room (the grey one) and pulls the left one. Then he checks on the floodgates.

You pull the lever and try to go back to the floodgates, but the water now streaming into the grates makes it difficult to go further. And maybe dangerous, too.
You are sure the floodgates are open now.

"Gah!! Not another one! No, you're not getting my brains, either!"
Rovod tosses his flask at the 'zombie' coming up the ladder, then runs panicking back towards stage right, away from his pursuer.

hit: d12-1=9, evade: d12=11
The abnormally agile zombie ducks away from your flask!

Askot Bokbondeler, "Zombie", is a Novice Dodger now!

running check: d12=9, d12-3=2
You fastly run to the ledge, shaking off the zombies. Nobody seems to follow you.
You can see two dwarves walking at the other end of the ledge.

>_

Action: > Follow her. Safety in numbers and all that.

The dwarven woman wipes her mouth, cleaning it of the blood.
"It all started when we built a new farm under the sea but almost all crops withered. Then a forgotten beast swam through an entrance to the sea into the fortress.
We were able to slay it and make lots of food from its meat, but many dwarves got ill and raised up as zombies after they died..."

>_

climb back down the ladder and wait for the zombie to chase the other dwarf. then enter the room to the left

You climb up the ladder once you can no longer hear "Braanes!".
After a short walk through the tunnel you enter a room with a craftsdwarf's workshop. Another workshop is next to it, but somebody destroyed it.

Lever room - now flip the right one and... hmmm.

Well, check the fourth wall of the lever room. We are running out of passages.

Rovod presses himself up against the wall and creeps towards the two dwarves, keeping out of sight as he watches (and sniffs) them.
Do they look or smell like zombies? If so, he shall run away in terror and climb back out the hole. If not, he'll walk up and ask just "What the Hell is going on down here?! I came looking for a fort, with dining rooms and masterful engravings, and now people are running around trying t' eat my brains!"

This is good fun, by the way, loving the art! :)

if i'm going to be a zombie, then at least i'm going to be a dangerous one.

i'm without a regular internet connection, i think i'll be able to post again this weekend, though. hopefuly i will die before this becomes a hurdle

Lever room - now flip the right one and... hmmm.

Well, check the fourth wall of the lever room. We are running out of passages.

Once you flip the right lever the water fills the big hall's ground. It is stagnant now.

You look at the wall in front of you, but there is no passage. Only a small clear glass lense is installed in it.

Oh no! They smell like zombies!

You climb back out to the hills. A goose is looking out of a tree.
"Quack?"

>_

I ask about nuts. Continuing to follow

"Nuts?? I don't have any..."
You go down the ramp and encounter a sleeping blind cave ogre! There are lots of bones and pools of blood on the floor...

The dwarven lady sneaks past the beast and signs you to follow her quietly.

>_

loot the workshop for all weaponizable tools, then head back right

You grab hammer and chisel and go through the narrow tunnel again.
At the other side of the channel you can see the zombie lady drooling mindlessly.
