The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

MOAR DRUMMING. Then go check the rock entrance.

"no, i don't happen to have a knife... i guess i found myself a quest. will you follow me or would you rather wait here for me to return with a knife?  i'm also down to 4 hit points, could you do anything about that too?"
explore past the gate in the next screen

drumming check: d12=8, d12=5
Askot tries to talk to Sibrek while Zan is making noises on the iron grating again.
This time the sound is quite pleasant. You can hear the metal!
Zan Malicepowder, Potash maker, is a Novice Drummer now!

"Hmm, you seem to have some nasty bruises...", Sibrek says while gnawing on the dead rat...

Then she uses a stone to shatter the broken forgotten beast stew barrel and picks up a few pieces of wood.
"With some decently clean pieces of cloth I could use those as splints."
"I guess I'll follow you, there is nothing here but zombies anyways."

After that you all go through the rock entrance...

You go down a stairway and enter a large hall. There are two levers next to the stairs and a rock door set into the cave wall.

>_

Rovod will sniff at the creature. If it smells or looks dangerous, his task will be well-and-truly cancelleled and he will attempt to flee back the way he came!

As you move your nose closer to it the creature emerges from the water and grabs you!
grappling (enemy): d12=10, resist: d12=10
grappling check: d12=6, d12=6
You barely manage to keep your balance but fail to free yourself from the merman's grasp.

>_

go away very very quietly.

sneak check: d12=2, d12+2=5
As the ogre hears you tripping over a rock, he grabs a skull from a heap of bones and throws it at you before running in your direction to engage you in melee:
hit: d12-2=10, evade: d12=4, dmg: 1d5/1=1
The flying skull hits you, but only lightly grazes your arm.

"Those are clearly the levers of Death."

Zan pulls the right one.

"Aaah! It's a... It's a carp-man!!"
Rovod will fight off the panic at his situation, headbutt the beast and throw it up onto the bank, where it will naturally flop around and suffocate.
As he kicks it to death, of course.

Zan pulls the right one.

Each of you pulls a lever of death. You can hear rushing water and a low-pitched rhythmical humming.
Sibrek throws away the remains of her rat.

hit: d12-1=3, evade: d12-4=1, dmg: 1d4/1=1
You bang your head against the merman's shoulder for minor damage!
At least your headache is minor as well...

grappling check: d12-3=5, d12=3
This carp is quite heavy, but you manage to pull him out of the water!
hit: d12-1=8, evade: d12=12
"Filthy airbreather!"
He tries to hit you with his fin, but your dodging skills are superior.

dash up the stairs like a ninja!
nin nin nin.

running check: d12=1, d12=6
hit: d12-2=5, evade: d12=5
You stagger and fall down on the ramp like a ninja. You barely evade the fat ogre's foot trying to crush you.
Berstid Udildesis, Wood burner, is a Novice Dodger now!
