Check if the door is locked first.

Then, Zan will go check what's on the screen to the left.

Rovod will quickly avert his nose from the foul-smelling hole in the ground, and go for a refreshing climb down the cliff. If he falls, luckily he has his scavenged feather, with which he can FLY.

serve the prisoner a portion of the stew
bon apetit
and look around in the other screen for a lever or key, or any potential way of freeing the prisoner.
say, fellow dwarf, would you mid checking that companion of yours so we can be sure he is not a zombie either?

You try to give the prisoner some stew from the broken barrel, but she refuses to eat it.
"No that... that's deadly poison!"

Then you go to the left...

Check if the door is locked first.

Then, Zan will go check what's on the screen to the left.

The door to the prison cell does not have a lock and can only be opened from the outside.

To the left you both see an empty prison cell without a door and a gate leading somewhere.

"Free me... please!"

climb check: d12+2=10, d12=7
Luckiely you do not need to rely on your flying skills, the climb is pretty easy and the air is refreshing.
You can go left and right alongside the cliff. In front of you there are several stones you could jump on for a better view. Just remember you cannot swim...

ambush check: d12=4, d12=3
You go down the ramp making quite some noise, but the sleeping blind cave ogre doesn't seem to hear too well either.
Some bones are lying on the ground and the air reeks of rotten meat and blind cave ogre.

The brave and handsome Rovod will follow his mighty nose along towards the left, (his left) keeping an eye (and nostril) out for any signs of movement... Or anything else other than cliff and water, for that matter.

They may alter hachnslay's opinion what is best to do, just change your turn then.
Or simply kill the thing.

Moongoose>mongoose!

Bonk on Produce fine drum tunes with bone on the cross-pattern gate.

drumming check: d12=6, d12=10
You produce some really nasty sounds with your bone. Some greatly disturbed rats run out of a hitherto unnoticed hole.

>_

The brave and handsome Rovod will follow his mighty nose along towards the left, (his left) keeping an eye (and nostril) out for any signs of movement... Or anything else other than cliff and water, for that matter.

You handsomely go to the right / your left along the cliff. The path is becoming extremely narrow here.
hidden spot check!
You notice something swimming in the water. It seems to be following you.

>_

Coup de grāce on the skull with the pick. then continue the search for a suitable bucket.

hit: d12-2+6=7, evade: d12=2, dmg: (1d4+2)/0.7=7
You dig a hole in the blind cave orge's head! It wakes up...

The ogre attacks you, preventing you from searching for a bucket.
hit: d12=10, evade: d12=11
You manage to evade the ogre's giant fist!

>_

free the gal. make a move

also, ask "this forgoten beast stew is deadly poison, you say?... might it perhaps be related to the observable zombie outbreak? and if i had, hypothetically, downed half a keg of said forgotten beast stew what might happen to me?"

You open the door and before you can make your cool move the dwarf jumps out and catches a rat.

"Oh thank you! My name is Sibrek, by the way."

"The stew... yes, it will slowly drain your life and make you a zombie. Luckiely I'm an accomplished diagnoser. Bloodletting might help if you consumed the stew recently... Do you happen to have a knife?"

"Eh, what's that?"
Rovod will sniff at the creature. If it smells or looks dangerous, his task will be well-and-truly cancelleled and he will attempt to flee back the way he came!
