"Sorry fresh out of missiles at the moment, but I have something else that you might be interested in." Zakroff said as he pulled at the Spider Turret, and held it up in the air. "Sadly this is all I got at the moment. I figured I would sneak on here steal a fighter, and some guns, and get some more stock. Though if you let me tag along I can get you some stuff later on, of course its going to cost ya." he added as he fiddled with the turret a bit.

"Sure. If any looting prospects open up, I'll tell you about them. Loot the room if you want, Captain will let you know if something's wrong - usually with a bullet or two. Oh, and when you're done, take my radio from the Captain, he can't deliver it himself right now.
Anyway, I'm going to interrogate the guy near the lift. If you want to go with us, talk to others. Yay from three of my people, and you're in."

"Mr. Burns" stood unmoving, even as the group gathered behind him. Amatin could almost feel the aura of capitalism around the officer.
"At ease, soldier. Tell me your rank, name, and what you're doing down here."

Zakroff nodded as he put the turret back into his pack, and began scavenging everything he could carry.

Grab all the guns, and ammo I can carry.

"Oh. Alrighty then. Let's go knock the Admiral out, then." Go help with the outing of the knocks.

Remembered converstation between Amatin and the Cloak of Unpredictability from sometime between talking to bartender and reaching the central hub:
"Hm? What's that, Purple Cloak? You want Detonation sustain itself for easier casting? That's a pragmatic thought, but what about safety? Oh, right, it will self-terminate when the mass limit is reached. I'm all set to make an effortless mass destruction spell, then! You're awesome, Purple Cloak!"

Spoiler: Spellcrafting (click to show/hide)
Retroactive action for turn 33: Amatin, inspired by the Cloak's advice, crafts Virulent Detonation.

OOC: Thought I'd spice up the situation with some retroactive mad spellcrafting. Retroactive because I can't fit spellcrafting into the current turn's timeline, and because I intended to do that back in the Turn 33, but couldn't find the time.
Besides, Cloak of Unpredictability will finally play some role in the game's plot, even if just as Amatin's imaginary Ring of Power.

Jaffar rose up off the ground. Ouch.

"Hmm...field test inconclusive..."

Jaffar held felt the punch go through his armor-he figured the problem with the forcefield was that the kinetic energy wasn't just magically disappearing, it was being discharged into him. He needed to learn how to redirect that energy...

For now, he saw his friends had worked out some sort of deal. He decided to try that password to the ships Wifi...hopefully the French robot hadn't got that deep yet. He logged into his helmet. He wanted to read up on Enforcer Armor...and maybe the the ship had a crew 'newspaper' that kept everyone up to date on current events.

Quote from: Enforcer Gear Analysis
The Enforcer Suit is a general-use set of indoor power-armor, equipped with radiation shielding and a modest amount of all-purpose plating. Its magnetic boots and corresponding organic biochip allows walking with ease on both land and starship, and it supports up to 6 HUD augments.

Action: Jaffar tries to dive into the ships Wifi and gather any interesting information on Enforcer Armor, or other plot stuffs.

Also, prepare by the lifts to escort the admiral out.

Kayle turned to Amatin. "I'm not talking about killing anyone... assuming this goes how I plan for it to. I plan on just taking a bit of the officer's stamina and using it to cure our friend here -" She indicated Herros with a gesture rather than say his name "- of his most recent wound. If all goes well, he'll be feeling a little better and the officer will feel slightly winded, like a Centauri after running a mile." She glanced at Herros. "No offense, but your people are known for thinking, not acting."

Jaffar walked over, joining the conversation-his connection to the ship was still 'processing'.

"It's perfectly safe, Amatin...Kayle knows what she's doing with this, she's a professional. It's about time your started trusting your teams judgement."

Zakroff overheard the comment about the Centauri, and yelled over his shoulder, "Not all of us are mental beings. Though I am different then all of them, whatever gets me the most money takes the lead." With that said Zakroff went back to checking out the guns on the ground, and placing them away with the munitions. "Anyways on to a more pressing matter. Any one mind your friendly Merchant of Death coming aboard?"

"If all goes well, he'll be feeling a little better and the officer will feel slightly winded, like a Centauri after running a mile."
"Yeah, right, he will be 'slightly winded' after screaming like a butchered pig as he feels his cells dying and rotting even as his blood flows around them. Comrade, don't mistake my objection to your choice of target for my objection to your idea: feel free to drain the life of anyone who won't notice it," Amatin pointed vaguely at the three bodies at the stairs and at the mortally wounded people on the floor, then turned back to 'Mr. Burns', "but this officer has surrendered by his own will. He is off limits to all mad experiments... as long as he cooperates, that is."
The captive, 'Mr. Burns', stood silent. He didn't even flinch as Amatin described the effects life-draining has on someone's body. What was wrong with this guy? "Soldier! Did you hear me the first time? I repeat, what the hell are you doing down here? Who sent you here, and why are you alone? Answer. Now."

UPD: OOC: Just re-read the description of Kayle's Life Drain. Turns out I was wrong about the effects it'll have. Whoops. Still, no in-character reason for Amatin to know that, so I'm not changing that part.
Can Mr. Burns at least explain why he went out into the battlefield all by himself, with no fire support or anything? I'm kinda curious about it.

UPD2: Alright, I've written down the group's course of actions when we reach the bridge. Spoilered because of its size.

Kayle raised an eyebrow. "Consider that I just used a broad variant of that spell on the Ross the floor below us. Are any of them 'screaming like a butchered pig as they feel their cells dying and rotting even as their blood flows around them?' she asked, quite sarcastically. She pointed out one in particular. "Look at this guy. He didn't even notice." True, the man she was pointing at had taken his helmet off and, out of boredom, was picking his nose. "What I'm attempting is a lower intensity version of the one I normally use. I doubt he'll feel any real pain." She considered the officer for a moment. "Well, if he's a wimp, he might throw up..."

She shrugged. "But fine. If you're going to throw a whiny tantrum over it, I won't do it. If our friend here dies of his wounds it won't be any fault of mine."

Jaffar complains.

"Also, why do I get to be Aphid? I want to be Badger.

And Kayles more of a Kyr-Hawk than an Alligator..."

Kayle looked at Jaffar when he blew her cover, then shook her head with a sigh.

((We were speaking on a closed circuit between teammates I believe. :P

If we worried about people listening, we've already been saying each others names for the whole mission...))
