For those of you questioning the authenticity of it, I refer you to Toady One.

He was probably sitting in his house, and thinking of what he wanted to do. He started a forum, and came up with his username. He then thought of "a Top Research & Development Officer" and how it sounded like his username, and thus decided to start developing his own game. The end.

Akura, in both present day and history, would be an Assayer, who checks the amount of metal in ore.

Real name, in the present day would be a Risk Management Top Exec(you know, the guys responsible for fucking over the economy). In history, I'd be what is defined as a Captain of Horse.
