Also, IMO giving funds again to bankrupt betters is too lenient. Maybe lower it from 1000 dorfbucks to 500?

I quite like how it balances itself out. I think there's still 10 people playing which means when one person goes bankrupt and gets a second 1000☼, the average balance is moved to 1100☼, so they still start out at a disadvantage. It would keep going up as more people went bankrupt and introduced more turtles. Inflation if you will  .

I'm getting an inkling that that the tournament is probably more entertaining for me then for others. Not that there isn't a place for this kind of game-topic, but maybe under different circumstances. Like with shown skills and varying armour and weapons. Who wins these fights are by no means random and are pretty consistant with the odd upset, but i'll admit that years-active is the only reliable information to base decisions on and everything else is misleading more-or-less. So, sorry to those who are still playing and want to continue but i'm going to be ending it here.

Thoughts on the tournament:

I was a little disappointed that the newer dwarves were still shut out of the finals, but it was still MUCH closer then the last tournament. Last tournament, the original 10 (all the finalists + Nerfy and Magoo) went undefeated against all the less experienced dwarves, including individual fights in the best-of matches. This time however they lost a grand total of 13 fights to the newbies and even came close to losing in some best-of matches. They will always be behind in experience but as they all train more, the gap won't mean as much. I'm looking forward to the 3rd tournament to see if they can close the distance even more.

The most suprising placement for me was Nerfy who was dead last in the Axedwarf division. That caught me completely off guard. Nerfy had been the Captain of my 2nd Squadron, and although I don't base my Captains on kill count or skill (it just happened to work out like that in most cases though) I decided to replace her with The Executioner. To come in last when you have such great attributes and so much experience I felt that the dwarves under her command probably wouldn't have as much respect for her. Executioner was able to kill Deadpool once and The Nose twice during the tourny, a very impressive feat. Her social attributes seemed pretty good for a leader too so I gave her a shot at captaining.

For any of you love-sick peoples or geneologists it might interest you to know that the finalists in the tournament of champions, Spartan and Hannibal, decided to become lovers. Their children will have a lot to live up to.

Also Deadpool is the only male still single. I know you're not really up on social skills but come on! There are 6 fine lady dwarf warriors to pick from, put the moves on!
