Well, not really.
You hit the noble guy with your gauntlet, which broke the inside of his cheek, causing him to spit blood.
Also, that probably mashed the outside pretty bad as well.
But you didn't kill anyone, and that's what matters.

Also, we went for 14 or so hours. Probably closer to 12 given off topicness, and we talked for another hour after we ended.
The SA points are dished out closer to the end.

Read the logs, ah that was a fun game. :)
Although, exactly what did I get those SA points for, at the end? Now I have to decide what to use 'em for. :P
I'm quite enjoying playing Otori, the strange, completely confused 1316-year-old Mongol! Aaand that was the second session, and still no combat! :o
Wow guys... I mean, in the 40kRPG games you're more of a 'shoot first, ask questions later' bunch, but here we're all about the diplomacy. I think my character's actually the least diplomatic of the lot, for once! Now, to go read up on the rules some more...

No sense in getting stabbed. I have people to do that for me. Also, orders for the people whilst I craft my surprises: Fortify the town walls, manufacture ammunition, and otherwise go about business as usual.

Alright, may be joining the TRoS as a swiss halberdier or an Italian mercenary artilleryman.

Well, if you do the former you can have a nice rivalry with Dmitri.

For he thinks Glaives are the ultimate polearm. I mean he did kill a Swiss Pikeman with it!

He was a peasant, not a full-on pikeman.

Quote
>Running The Riddle of Steel set in Low Fantasy 1460s Europe
>Russian Landed Noble Wizard PC is hated by his town, and brother (lord of said town)
>Brother tells him to "Go slay a dragon or a wyrm or something." Word for word.
Keep in mind this is a low fantasy game.
>PC decides to suit up in full plate, with the aid of his PC maid, and runs off to the bar.
>Meets up with two other PCs, a war veteran who uses glaives and rides bears and a Catholic priest.
>Announces that he's going to 'slay the dragon in the south, Vlad the Impaler.'
>Knights the PCs, and rides off to Romania.
>Picks up approximately 30 peasants and a few men-at-arms with good equipment
>Finds the final PC riding his horse incredibly drunk
>Stops in a romanian town on the border, Noble PC Wizard buys a dress for the Maid PC.
>Everybody in town SHUTS DOWN EVERYTHING and just stares at her beauty. Including more than a few women.
>Moves on to another town close by.
>Begins a speech (basically just waving his sword around while on his horse, with the war veteran doing the actual speaking), rallies the populace and over throws the local noble.
>Exiles the local noble, takes the town for himself.
>First thing he does is organize a dance.

Also, they've managed to not fight anyone for the two sessions we've played.
I'd say that's an accomplishment.

We play on IRC, so it's significantly less awkward when more sexual things come up.

Atomic, you magnificent bastard.

Quite high praise, and a good summary of the game so far. But we're just getting started. Have to say it makes Vasily out to be quite the cloud-cuckoolander. Is Vasily off his rocker?

A. What about Nazar?
B. Don't worry about it, since I can't make it to the next session.

Needless to say I am more mad/upset about B than A.

Damn, I knew I was forgetting something.

However, they did meet Yoink after they met you.

I'd say yes, very much so.

I'm probably not going to be there next session either. Got a relative and his fiance visiting.

@Vasily being off his rocker: Definitely. :P
Also, once again, I can only make, at most, the first few hours of the next game, if we start fairly early(For me).
It's kindof annoying, since it's important and happens every second week at the moment, but occasionally it's cancelled and I'll be sure to let you guys know. I'm really liking Otori (And Tur, despite the creepiness of horse udders) so it's a shame. :-\

But still, if we start early enough (for me) I'll be there as long as possible!

Alright, Dsarker. That's a shame, but you'll be able to make next week, correct?

Yoink, I'll see what I can do. It really depends on how I feel on Friday, and if the part I need for my new graphics card comes in or not.
