Ah.

Phantom, I remember you bought Soldier (Officer) for clothing when you're not in armor.
Also, you should probably buy that chain sleeveless shirt.

Yeah, the pony was free.

I'm still working it out (I might get some leather for uncovered areas) but so far my shopping list is as such:

Throwing Knife (x30) (Cost 4c Standard x 30 = 10 s)
Fine Poniard (-1 DTN) (Cost 6s Standard x 10 for Fine = 3g)

Chain Shirt (w/Sleeves) (Cost 2g, 10s Standard)
Whistle (Cost 2c Standard)
Clothing: Freeman (Wealthy) (Maid Uniform) (Cost 1g Standard)

Starting Wealth (Standard): 15g
Starting Cost Total: 7g, 2c
Remaining Wealth: 6g, 19s, 10c
Ah, sounds good.
What are you going to do with the remaining money?
Also, the Travel Pack is a good idea, you should probably get one.

Oh right. Got that on the knight-version but forgot to do the same for the maid. I'll probably save any remaining money for when I/we need it.

I'm going to steamroll this house.

What's the travel pack for, again? Just a bigger backpack?

You do not convince me. You rationalize your actions and because the result is favorable you become right.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea.
Though I'm pretty sure you and Phantom make 1d6 gold a month, or more if Atomic wants to pay you more.

Dsarker, what's your character's social class? Because Low Freemen get 15g to start, and 1d6 gold every month, and the only one lower than that is peasant, which gets 0 for both (I think).
It's got everything an adventurer needs. Oil, lanterns, torches, bedrolls, the basic survival gear.

Much cheaper than buying those all, separately. 10 silver for 20 gold worth.

Indeed, it's really worth it.
Also, it's got a GRAPPLING HOOK.

I believe I'm a peasant, who starts with 5. Slaves start with 0.

Ooh, good. More stuff I don't need or could get.

Goddamnit, I just realised why I seemed to have too much money: The stupid character generator hasn't been subtracting the stuff I spent from my total, because I saved the character and re-loaded it. >:( I ended up with all this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I can probably afford about half of it. ::) Well, guess I'll have to re-do it later.

Oh wow.
I'd say you could ask Atomic to lend you the money, but you bought a lot of stuff, and he doesn't exactly have much left.
Also, you don't need to pay for food as long as you're in Atomic's city/town.

I could easily ditch a lot of that stuff, as most of it was just me going "I still have money... Must spend!"
So I guess it's not too bad, I'll just go through and cross off everything unnecessary and see if that'd work.

I'll post up a list of my bought equipment on friday, I don't have the generated character on my laptop, it's on my big PC back home.

And I have a cart for equipment, plus a carriage for travelling in to meditate.

Damn it, I should probably generate my character.

What kind of character does the party need? I have a couple of ideas of what I want to do, but I'd rather help round out the party.

A Skill monkey, or a tradesman to make some moolah. You could take blacksmithing, or carpentry. Carpentry might let you heal my golems.

Probably a tradesman.

Also, I'm shifting the time period from 1420s to 1460s-70s, because I'm pretty sure you guys don't want to be ruled over by Mongols.
Well, most of you don't.

Be either a blacksmith, or Carpenter. You can fix our shit, and we'll protect you. Also realized that with magic, I can solve food, and material problems.
